PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
As part of the District Office Decision Support Team and reporting to an assigned administrator, the Data Strategist Intern will support CCC's projects on Economic Mobility. These initiatives aim to understand how a CCC education impacts students' long-term economic outcomes. Responsibilities include analyzing post-graduation wage and employment data from the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), reviewing data from the Graduate Follow-up Survey, and conducting secondary research on labor market trends. Performs other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Conducts strategic data analyses, identifies insights and implications from institutional quantitative data including survey data and administrative data, and makes strategic recommendations to executive and senior staff.
· Develops clear and accessible charts and visuals for executive briefings and presentations.
· Contributes to slide decks and memos summarizing key findings for funders and senior leadership.
· Conducts literature reviews and landscape scans on workforce development, labor market trends, and related policy areas.
· Identifies how CCC outcomes align with broader industry trends and regional economic shifts.
· Conducts secondary research on labor market data and macro-level industry trends as needed
· Adheres to CCC Customer Service Excellence standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.

· Proficiency in Excel and at least one statistical software tool (e.g., R, Python, Stata, or SQL).
