Purpose: The Learning Management System (LMS) Specialist provides operational support technical expertise for the organization's Learning Management Systems, ensuring reliable training delivery, accurate reporting, and a positive learner experience. This role identifies and resolves system issues, maintains data integrity, and drives continuous improvement of learning operations to support business priorities.
Essential Functions:
Owns the end-to-end LMS content lifecycle, including uploading, testing, publishing, and maintaining eLearning modules, videos, job aids, and instructor-led training materials, ensuring content is functional, accessible, and optimized across user types and devices
Organizes, structures, and maintains learning paths, curricula, and course structures, balancing accuracy, usability, and evolving training requirements; proactively identifies outdated, duplicated, or misaligned content and recommends improvements
Maintains accurate user data (new hires, transfers, terminations, role changes, organizational updates) by partnering with HRIS and People & Culture teams to investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and resolve data issues related to job codes, locations, reporting structures, and employment status
Evaluates and maintains data integrity standards through consistent naming conventions, tagging, and data hygiene practices, improving searchability, reporting accuracy, and long-term system reliability
Serves as a trusted first point of contact for LMS-related inquiries, independently assessing issues, determining appropriate solutions, and delivering clear, user-friendly support to field managers and People & Culture partners

Education and Experience: The combination of education and professional experience must exceed 5 years:

UAS Data Analysis and Trend Monitoring
Collects, reviews, and analyzes daily UAS detection and intercept data for the NCR and protective trip locations.
Identifies patterns, anomalies, and emerging threats related to unauthorized UAS flights.
Prepares trend analyses and develops predictive models to support proactive security postures.
Operational Support
Provides daily analytical products and briefings to Customer leadership regarding UAS threats, intercept activity, and operational readiness.
Supports trip planning and field operations by identifying high-risk airspace sectors and potential repeat offenders.
Coordinates with the Customer Branches and interagency partners (FAA, DHS, DoD) for data sharing and deconfliction.
Reporting and Briefings
Prepares executive summaries, dashboards, and written reports on UAS and counter-UAS activity for CUSTOMER leadership.
Delivers intelligence-driven assessments that inform policy, operational decisions, and resource allocation.
Maintains databases and visualization tools for trend reporting and leadership decision support.
Policy and Program Development
Assists in drafting SOPs and guidance for collection, analysis, and reporting of UAS activity data.
Recommends program improvements, technology integration, and analytical methodologies to enhance ASD's counter-UAS mission.
Contributes to interagency working groups on UAS security and data standards.

Data Modeling & Statistical Forecasting: Develop predictive models to anticipate potential UAS threats using statistical techniques such as regression, clustering, and time-series analysis.
Apply machine learning algorithms to improve threat classification and response strategies.
Knowledge of unmanned aerial systems, counter-UAS technologies, and FAA regulatory framework (Part 107, TFRs, Remote ID).
Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis of UAS intercept data, including geospatial and trend analysis.
Proficiency with analytical tools and software (Excel, Power BI/Tableau, ArcGIS, or equivalent).
Strong written and oral communication skills to prepare daily executive-level reports and briefings.
Knowledge of interagency coordination processes (FAA, DHS, DoD) related to restricted airspace and air defense operations.
Ability to work under pressure in a high-tempo protective operations environment.
Supervisory Controls
Staff will work under the general supervision of the CUSTOMER PMO, Counter-UAS Operations. Assignments are carried out with considerable independence, and completed products are reviewed for overall effectiveness and alignment with mission objectives.
Complexity and Scope
The position requires synthesizing diverse datasets from multiple sources and developing actionable insights to support protective operations. The work directly impacts the ability of the CUSTOMER to identify and mitigate UAS threats to CUSTOMER and secure the NCR airspace.
VII. Physical Demands and Work Environment
The work is primarily sedentary in an office setting but requires frequent extended hours, high-tempo operations during protective trips, and occasional field support for special events.

The front desk Medical DataSpecialist is a key member of the Student Health Services administrative team, serving as the first point of contact for students and visitors. This role helps ensure smooth operations by managing high-volume front-line services, including:
* Coordinating patient check-in and check-out processes;
* Scheduling appointments and supporting clinical providers with calendar management;

Support the ODSS-funded project to establish a cloud-based databank for scalable and cost-effective storage and migration of structured research, clinical, and real-world data.
Collaborate with the NIDCR Office of Clinical Trials Operations & Management (OCTOM) to grow the existing Clinical Research Management System into an in-house web application for the collection, integration, and analyses of the study documentation, safety monitoring, quality management, regulatory submissions, and clinical site monitoring and reporting of NIDCR conducted and managed clinical trials and human subject studies.
Improve data standardization, communication, and collaboration across the research community by leading and participating in NIH-wide efforts to standardize the db GaP vocabularies and define the AI-readiness requirements of scientific data.
Collaborate with the NIH CIT to customize its Clinical Research Management System (BRICS) as a secure platform for appropriate public dissemination of NIDCR's genetic, molecular, cellular, phenotypic, clinical, and medical imaging data.
Serve on the NIDCR team that oversees the integration of the NIDCR-funded data repository, FaceBase, with the NIH Researcher Authentication Service (RAS) to enhance security and identity proofing for the human derived and clinical data shared through controlled access.
Coordinate the evaluation, development, and implementation of a software tool to serve standardized data sharing and effective data -reuse in research. The public facing module will offer a fillable template linked to data science resources such as the NIH Common Data Element (CDE) Library to create a Data Management and Sharing plan (DMS plan) in compliance with the NIH DMSP. The internally facing module will serve the extrapolation and analysis of information in the DMS plan and associated grant application about the CDEs, data formats, and biomedical questions tackled.
Facilitate trainees, clinicians, and investigators to use robust and cost-effective resources, to include collaborating with the NIH STRIDES initiative, for cloud access and computing.
Clearance requirement: Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a favorable suitability determination and pass an employment drug screening.
