Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals in your care at all times. Foster a positive and supportive environment that respects the dignity and preferences of individuals. Participate in training programs and staff meetings as required. Communicate effectively with families, staff, and supervisors regarding any concerns or updates. Job Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Two forms of identification for employment verification. Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain). Completion of an 8-hour training program provided by Faith Walks LLC. BCI required and FBI background check required if you have lived outside of Ohio for more than 5 years. Must possess a caring and patient attitude and demonstrate a commitment to working with individuals with disabilities. Ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift, move, and assist individuals as necessary. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar role or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
