Summary
The Clinical Liaison Team Lead serves as a key representative of the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital System. Business Development
Analyzes market trends and physician referral patterns to prioritize outreach efforts and drive census growth.
Collaborates with the Mary Free Bed Marketing Department to identify patient and referral source needs, supporting the development of educational materials and presentations.
Cultivates and strengthens relationships with current and potential referral sources, including insurance case managers and payers, by promoting Mary Free Bed services.
Develops and implements strategic outreach plans in partnership with the System Continuum Access Team.
Partners with the Access Team to create initiatives targeting trauma centers for increased market penetration.
Tracks and supports catastrophic cases across the territory by rounding at key call points to foster incremental referral growth.

Builds and maintains relationships with catastrophic case managers.

Builds strong working relationships with Network Partners and their admissions teams.
Maintains credentialing and certifications at all required facilities.
Works with Admissions Secretaries to ensure efficient processing of admissions information.

Provides daily operational oversight for the territory and clinical liaison activities.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with policy, procedures, standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations.
-Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from the Clinical Educator, Preceptor or in collaboration with other RegisteredNurses.
-Performs ongoing, systematic collection and analysis of patient data pre - during - post hemodialysis treatment for assigned patients and documents in the patient medical record, makes adjustments or modifications to treatment plan as indicated and notifies Team Leader, Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Physician as needed.
-Assesses, collaborates, and documents patient/family's basic learning needs to provide initial and ongoing education to patients and family.
-Directs and provides, in collaboration with direct and ancillary patient care staff, all aspects of the daily provision of safe and effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy to assigned patients.
-Administers medications as prescribed or in accordance with approved algorithm(s), and documents appropriate medical justification and effectiveness.
-Initiates or assists with emergency response measures.
-Serves as a resource for health care team, participates in staff training and orientation of new staff as assigned.
-Ensures correct laboratory collection, processing and shipping procedures are performed and reschedules missed or insufficient laboratory collections.
-Identifies expected outcomes, documents and updates the nursing assessment and plan of care for assigned patients through collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team.
-Ensures patient awareness related to transplant and treatment modality options.
-Performs all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:

The Per Diem Mobile Research Nurse is a RegisteredNurse who will work per diem and has experience across multiple therapeutic areas with the ability to work independently and integrate well with the Nursing Solutions Group. With interest/expertise in Science 37's decentralized model of care delivery, the Mobile Research Nurse will perform delivery of care to participants as well as collaborate with brick and mortar sites, if indicated, for shared clinical trial implementation. The Mobile Research Nurse ensures the professional delivery of patient care in compliance with all federal and state regulations, Good Clinical Practice, and Standard Operating Procedures.
*This is a travel role that requires on-site visits to participants homes.

Apply clinical research and nursing practices to develop solutions to complex problems
Collaborate with Lead and Per Diem Mobile Research Nurses on solutioning, education, and resource support
Participate in activities that will further the operational development of Science 37 nursing service delivery

This position has the following qualifications:
BSN degree preferred

Compensation varies based on location and work being performed. The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $50-55 per hour. Employees may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses and commissions. The successful candidate's actual pay will also be based on qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
