Core Responsibilities: Meet regularly with families with young children in their homes to complete assessments, develop goals, and provide services aligned with the strengths and needs of the child and family. Provide observations of parent-child interactions, including assessing for effective communication and empathic responses, and engage parents in reflective dialogue on the developing parent-child relationship. Assist parents in forming community connections aligned with service goals, including referral and linkage with providers of early intervention, mental health, health care, and other supportive services. Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with key community providers. Candidate qualifications: Associates degree in social work, psychology, early childhood, child development or other closely related field preferred One year of experience working with families with children under the age of 5 required.
