REQUIREMENTS
No experience is needed, but the Driver MUST have a valid Class A CDL driver's license and 120 hours in a CDL School.
Trainees will be with a mentor 4-6 Weeks making $650.00 per week while in training, During your time with the Mentor you will be running ALL 48 States. There is no Home time during the 4 to 6 weeks with the Mentor. You will be sleeping in the Truck. If you are going OTR after your Mentor Training you can expect to average about $1,100.00 a week with your base pay of .45 or .46 CPM depending on if your West or East. There is a Sliding Pay Scale that depends on length of haul.
If a Driver completed school and training with another company and did not have any moving violations or preventable accidents during the time they have held a CDL, they can participate in a modified training program with a mentor.
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must have held a regular US driver's license for the last 12 consecutive months.

Job Responsibilities:

Family support specialist job in Phoenix, AZ
The City of Phoenix Human Services Department (HSD) enhances the health, wellness, and quality of life for Phoenix residents by providing a comprehensive array of services to help people meet emergency, short and long-term needs; and to help every individual reach their highest level of self-sufficiency. HSD offers a wide variety of programs for children, adults, and families at numerous locations throughout the city. There are three family services centers that provide emergency assistance and case management services to individuals and families in need.
Within the City of Phoenix, there are four Phoenix Families First Resource Centers (PFFRC) that serve as community hubs for specific targeted communities. The Family Resource Advocates/Case Worker I will develop relationships with families by coordinating parent and child activities; offering information and resources to families with children birth to five years old; and facilitating parent advisory committee meetings. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and facilitating early education programs; working collaboratively to create and implement programming; conducting professional development; and conducting outreach to partners.
SALARY
Pay Range: $19.54 - $36.84 per hour.
Hiring Range: $19.54 - $30.31 per hour.

Internal Only: Please understand that this is pay grade 345. If selected, your salary offer will be based on the applicable promotion or demotion worksheet in accordance with the City Pay Ordinance.
* Promotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade increase.
* Demotions occur when the last two digits of the pay grade decrease.
* Lateral transfers occur when there is no change to the last two digits of the pay grade.
* When there is a change in the first digit of the pay grade, there may also be a change to your classification or unit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Two years of experience in a social service programs
* Associate's degree in social work, sociology, social services, or a related field
* Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum qualifications may be substituted
* All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
* This position requires the use of personal or City vehicles on City business. Individuals must be physically capable of operating the vehicles safely, possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving record. Use of a personal vehicle for City business will be prohibited if the employee is not authorized to drive a City vehicle or if the employee does not have personal insurance coverage.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
* Bilingual in Spanish.
* Two or more years of experience working directly families and children from birth to five years old.
* Two or more years of experience coordinating and facilitating early childhood education programs.
* Experience providing exceptional customer service to a diverse population.
* Experience collaborating with community partners to provide programming that supports the population you serve.
* Experience maintaining confidential client, case, or other records or files.
* Experience accessing and using a client database.
* Experience providing social service information and referrals/resources.
