POSITION SUMMARY

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be fluent in English language, including reading, writing, and must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCES
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state where services are being delivered (LICSW or LMHC required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates housed in Secure Treatment Units.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services within Secure Treatment Units.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services in Secure Treatment Units to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
Maintain proficiency with all software required for the position, and more specifically, clinical documentation in the designated electronic health record system.
Other duties as assigned.

• Demonstrate a high level of effective communication and documentation on individual's behalf
• Coordinate and develop the individual's person-centered Individual Service Agreement per state regulations and agency policy and practice.
• Monitor goals and objectives as established in Service Agreement
• Demonstrate an understanding of individual's budget needs
• Act as liaison, educator, and coach to families to identify and develop person-centered community resources to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with the Family Support Manager on behalf of families who need Family Support Council Assistance
• Maintain knowledge of educational laws and guidelines from the Division of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF), and Bureau of Adult and Aging Services (BAAS).
• Maintain a professional appearance in the community on behalf of our individuals, families and the Agency
• Maintain knowledge of employment opportunities as well as community agencies, including Vocational Rehabilitation available to assist individuals with employment needs
• Coordinate cost share agreements with outside agencies in accordance with the Bureau of Developmental Services (BDS) and Moore Center Services guidelines ·
• Submit referrals for behavior assessments and coordinate the meeting with the family and clinician and/or behaviorist
• Monitor and assist individuals with interim needs as appropriate and available
• Maintain a regular attendance in the office, and be comfortable with face-to-face interactions are essential job functions
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field
Minimum of 2 years' experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities

Temporary coverage for maternity leave for about 5-6 months and the assignment would start March 2026 ending Aug/September 2026. Inpatient Hem/Oncology department. Child Life Specialist. Key Responsibilities: The Child Life Specialist will:
* Participate in therapeutic activities and programs to meet patients' psychosocial and developmental needs, and facilitate adjustment to health care experiences in a variety of departments
* Serve as member of multidisciplinary team.
* Delegate work assignments to volunteers and participate in clinical training of student interns.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Child Life, or a closely related field with a concentration in child life.
* 600-hour Child Life internship under the supervision of a certified child life specialist.
Experience:
* General skills to resolve problems requiring the use of child development theory, professional child life principles, and experienced‑based knowledge.
* Well-developed writing skills, and excellent communication skills including conflict resolution to effectively work as a team member.
Licensure/ Certifications:
Certification in Child Life Specialist required within 1 year of hire for all new hires.
