    Youth Specialists assist in facilitating the day-to-day services offered in the Day Services Program and the Transitional Living Program. Support for Day Program and Transitional Living Program services can include assisting with youth skill-building activities, including healthy recreation and art activities, food preparation, and helping ensure a safe and respectful program space. Youth Specialists are also responsible for appropriately responding to crises. The long-term goal of the Day Program and Transitional Living Program is to help youth build the skills needed for self-sufficiency and to be successful in their plan to exit street life. This is an on-call position. Must be available for overnight (awake) shifts in the Transitional Living Program. Essential Duties Build positive relationships with youth through role modeling and mentoring. Help direct new or returning youth to navigate the screening and assessment process. Educate youth about the Homeless Youth Continuum and how to access available services and resources. Engage youth in Outside In program offerings. Be available on-site to residents in Transitional Living Program and/or Day Program during shifts. Provide individualized support to youth. Respond to youth crises as needed. Support the smooth function of the Food Program in the Day Program by participating in food preparation of meals as needed. Assure material and operational support of the Day and Transitional Living Programs. This can include assisting with cleaning/room turnover in the Transitional Living Program and assisting with food preparation/serving of meals in the Day Program as needed. Establish and facilitate effective communication with staff. This includes serving as a conduit of information for teammates and between and among program staff and supervisors. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and interventions in the appropriate data and tracking systems. Commitment to continual learning and quality performance. Participate in discussions, events, workshops, and trainings offered by Outside In. Meet youth worker core competencies. Always maintain professional boundaries and performance. Qualifications Education and Experience One-year relevant experience working with youth, homeless youth, and/or in a drop-in shelter, or housing program. BA/BS in a related field preferred. Working Conditions This job is located in a residential program and a drop-in day services program for young adults experiencing homelessness, located at 1132 SW 13 th Ave Portland, OR 97205. Program spaces include private and shared residential space, shared staff office space, and drop-in space, including a commercial kitchen. Physical Requirements This job requires operating phones, computers, and other office equipment. Communicating is required on a regular basis. Moving inside the building to other offices and program delivery spaces as well as moving to surrounding sites is expected. Sporadically moves boxes and/or items weighing up to 30 pounds.

The person serving in this position supports case management, case processing, data collection and other case processing activities in child protection and juvenile proceedings. The incumbent will gather data and information, analyze trends, research possible solutions, make recommendations for improvement, identify impediments to implementation of new policies and procedures, and assess resource and training needs. The Specialist is the Family Division's lead legal content expert in child protection and juvenile cases and the primary liaison between the AOC and the chiefs of the District Court and the Supreme Judicial Court (SJC) for these case types. The person serving in this position supports Judicial Branch work in improving child protection and juvenile case practices and case flow processes. The Specialist works in courthouses with judicial officers on a regular basis and serves a major role in the development of child protection and juvenile content for the Judicial Branch (for example, pamphlets, guidebooks, website information, benchbooks, benchcards). The Specialist will develop educational materials and conduct trainings and conferences on child protection and juvenile matters.     The Child Life Specialist will support hospitalized pediatric patients on our Pediatric Acute Care Medical unit (9N). Our facility provides private rooms for patients/families, playrooms, family lounge, classroom and an outside courtyard. Essential Functions Adhere to program, agency, and federal legal policies on client confidentiality Implement a survivor-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed empowerment model in assisting clients to heal and attain stability as driven by their priorities and goals Collaborate with internal and external service providers to identify survivors and cases affected by domestic violence Assess potential participants for eligibility, conduct intake sessions utilizing assessment and evaluation procedures and best practices, and conduct eligibility screening for other services Navigate risk assessment alongside survivors and provide immediate and ongoing safety planning Develop a case management plan for each participant, provide short-term crisis intervention for participants who wish to access services which include but are not limited to, emergency shelters and motels; supports for long term housing stability; assistance with restraining orders and stalking orders; peer supports; mental health services; securing employment; and referrals for other relevant services Assist participants in navigating and accessing appropriate services and follow through on referrals Advocate and coordinate with service providers, attorneys, law enforcement, the legal system, other Advocates, and management to serve the needs of clients Access family legal services and obtain protective orders (restraining orders or stalking orders) for participants when necessary Make referrals to legal immigration services; assist participants in gathering documents and evidence, write letters of support when requested, and obtain clearance from law enforcement Provide or secure interpretation, translation, and accessibility services Maintain confidential participant files including records of intakes, case management plans, and all contacts and referral Maintain a high level of confidentiality of participants in identifying information. Requirements: * 8+ years of experience in customer success, consulting, or professional services, with a proven track record in driving software adoption. * 3-5+ years of hands-on Anaplan model-building experience; experience with EPM, SPM, or SCM products is a strong plus. * Strong understanding of complex planning functions and the ability to advise on platform capabilities to support business outcomes. * Deep knowledge of the roles played by Customer Success Managers, Technical Account Managers (Platform Adoption Specialists), and Professional Services teams in a SaaS environment. * Proven ability to create structure and design effective processes in ambiguous or rapidly changing environments. * Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills, with a sharp attention to detail. * A communication style that builds confidence with customers and stakeholders, enabling rapid establishment of trusted advisor status. * Strong background in delivering and facilitating knowledge transfer sessions both in-person and virtually across global teams. * Self-starter with the ability to manage workload autonomously and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Results-driven problem solver with a focus on progress and continuous improvement. * Open to feedback and comfortable working in an iterative, collaborative environment. * BA/BS required; MA/MBA is a plus.
