Description
As a member of Apple's commercial litigation team, you will not be merely monitoring outside counsel. Rather, you will personally be formulating and driving strategy as well as working with a number of cross-functional teams and stakeholders across all product areas. The position requires a high degree of self-sufficiency, independent judgment, and a trial-focused approach. Travel is anticipated. You will operate as part of a supportive and fun team of lawyers, legal specialists, and support staff who work closely together to protect Apple's interests.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of major law firm and/or in-house litigation experience, including experience with competition-related litigation, subpoenas, and other investigations.
JD or equivalent and admission to at least one US state bar.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong technology interest and aptitude.
Trial experience and experience beyond competition related litigation.
Excellent communication, analytical, organization, and negotiation skills are essential.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $180,300 and $271,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

3. Assesses for, and educates interdisciplinary group, on any special needs related to the culture of the patient and family. Includes communication, role of family, space, and any special traditions or taboos.
4. Educates patients and families on, and assists in, preparation of advanced directives.
5. Participates in the development of the individualized plan of care, involving the patient and family, and attends regularly scheduled interdisciplinary group meetings, assisting the team in recognizing the effects of the psychosocial stresses on the symptoms of the terminal illness.
6. Assists physician and other team members in understanding significant social and emotional factors related to health problems and death/dying issues.

11. Teaches the patient and family/caregiver coping techniques as appropriate. Works in concert with the interdisciplinary group.
12. Provides and maintains a safe environment for the patient.
13. Assists the patient and family/caregiver and other team members in providing continuity of care.

JOB SUMMARY
The ABA Therapist will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based upon the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in the home, community, and school settings. The ABA Therapist will collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and assist the BCBA with clinical assessments as needed. The ABA Therapist is an essential part of the team, along with the BCBA, and the parents/caregivers to achieve the goals developed for the child.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community-based environments
Implement individualized treatment plans developed by licensed & certified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Collect data to monitor the progress and effectiveness of the individualized treatment plan.
Provide regular written and verbal progress updates on treatment goals.
Support the BCBA with training families on implementing individualized treatment plans.
Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA.
Utilize safe & appropriate handing procedures when working with clients.
Assist BCBA with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
Assist BCBA in preparing client materials as instructed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
Collaborate with the treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, and co-workers.
Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings.
Follow all HIPAA regulations & uphold BACB Code of Ethics at all times
Follow the policies & procedures, and contribute to the culture of ABS
Qualifications and Skills
Enrollment in or completion of Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services, healthcare, education, or related fields preferred
High School diploma or GED required
Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification, or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
Current BLS certification, or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire
Valid driver's license
Reliable transportation & valid car insurance
Pass pre-employment state and federal criminal background checks
Experience working in an in-home setting preferred
Fluency in English required, bilingual preferred
Ability to accept constructive feedback and develop knowledge and skillsets accordingly.
Must maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the company dress code.

What You'll Do
Maintain a caseload of 15-25 families enrolled in the Healthy Families Home Visiting program.
Review initial assessment and intake utilizing the Parent Survey within 24 hours of receipt and makes contact with potential participants within 48 hours.
Develop HFA Service Plans to address risks identified in the Parent Survey within one month of the participating family's enrollment in home visiting, which are updated at least monthly in collaboration with the HFA Program Manager.
Document CHEERS observations (Cues, Holding, Expression, Empathy, Rhythm/Reciprocity, and Smiles) following each visit where the target child or children are present.
Coordinate medical care for caregiver in the prenatal and post-partum period, identifies barriers to care and problem solves to address them. Obtains immunization and well-child visit information for all children on caseload. Ensures that both caregiver(s) and enrolled children have a primary medical care provider and medical insurance.
Meet with families on caseload primarily in the home environment to provide information from evidence-based curriculum on basic baby/toddler care, social and emotional development of the child, understanding cues, physical and brain development of the child, as well as play and stimulation. Frequency of visits are based on HFA standards.
Network with COH and other community resources for housing, employment, substance abuse treatment, mental health treatment, training, child and family services, etc., and makes referrals as appropriate. Progress on referrals provided, releases of information, and follow-ups, should be documented in the records database.
Offer parents referral to Strong Start or Early Stages following ASQ screenings below the identified cut off. Makes referrals to appropriate resources following depression and domestic violence screens that indicate risk.
Requirements
Must-Haves
High school diploma.
Valid CPR & First Aid Certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a public and/or human services related field.
Bilingual in English and Spanish/Amharic.
Experience providing public health education (ex. reproductive health, smoking cessation, child development, and/or parenting) to at risk populations.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent is required to ride along with an MPD Police Officer for entire shift. The CRT functions as a 24/7 city wide crisis response team and as result assignments and locations can vary based on need. BBI is seeking an LCSW, LPC, or LMHC to serve as our Child & Family Trauma Specialist and is responsible for the overall planning, implementation, coordination, evaluation, and ongoing administration of trauma-informed care at Bright Beginnings. The position is responsible for the full implementation and delivery of high quality, comprehensive services to children and families. The individual will have considerable ability to understand chronic homelessness, intergenerational poverty, their causes, and two generational approaches and solutions. This person must have the ability to provide effective leadership to plan and direct the work of others and the ability to establish effective working relationships with the public and others, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Must be well versed in the Head Start Performance Standards and Other Regulations, Child Abuse regulations, and District of Columbia Municipal Regulations (DCMR).
Essential Duties:
Responsible for the overall trauma-informed care at Bright Beginnings.
Provide trauma-informed and culturally competent therapy sessions to clients. Sessions may be individual, family, or group therapy.
To monitor and evaluate clients' progress respecting confidentiality issues for project evaluation purposes.
Maintain a caseload of individual clients.
Coordinate clinical trauma training for the graduate student program.
Provide clinical supervision to graduate interns.
To ensure that the therapy provided is of the highest possible professional standard and that the work is safe and ethical.
Perform assessments including assessments of mental health needs and risk assessments.
Plan and implement therapy applying psychological principles when working with individuals and groups to assist in changing, improving, understanding, or managing situations.

Qualifications:

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel is defined as travel to all areas within Goodwill's territory (Cecil, Harford, Baltimore, Howard, and Anne Arundel Counties, Baltimore City and the entire Eastern Shore of Maryland). In some cases, long-distance travel, including overnights may be required but is typically planned in advance. In some cases, travel may be unplanned. Home visits will be conducted weekly and on as needed bases. Personal vehicles are used and mileage reimbursement is available.

Job Description
This position will provide services to our 19-bed PICU. The Child Life Specialist is responsible for providing optimal developmental, psychosocial, and therapeutic support in the healthcare setting to meet the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of children between the ages of birth and eighteen years of age. Assesses children's developmental and coping needs and implements developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions such as play, medical play, psychological preparation, and rehearsed coping to minimize distress associated with the health care environment and to foster resiliency. Supervised by the child life manager and supervises and evaluates the work of volunteers and student interns. Collaborates with other members of the health care team to enhance quality of care and acts as an advocate and resource regarding issues such as child development and children's response to hospitalization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in child life, child development, or closely related discipline. Completion of a child life internship under the supervision of a certified child life specialist is required.
Must meet requirements set forth for certification by the Child Life Certifying Commission. Certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
Membership in Child Life Council and other professional affiliations is encouraged.
Current CPR training, or obtain CPR training within 3 months.
