Ensure that adequate amounts of food are properly and consistently prepared. Assist with proper and routine maintenance of equipment. Knowledge of all kitchen equipment will be necessary to properly disassemble, clean, and reassemble. Wash all dishes, trays, utensils, glasses, pots, and pans will be responsibility of all food service personnel. Document all meal counts. They must be accurate and reconciled with the edit check; collaborate with the Direct Care Supervisor to ensure that all residents and staff receive a meal. Other documentation required: daily production menu, time allocation sheets, temperature log, and others as assigned. Prevent accidents by focusing on details of the job; report any unsafe act of any safety violation to your Kitchen Supervisor; wear safety gloves when using/cleaning the meat slicer and/or while using a knife to cut any food. Maintain the food service areas in a manner that will receive the highest grade or points from any inspecting agency.
