Essential Duties:

Essential Functions
Creates compelling and effective design concepts in multiple media types, including but not limited to digital ads, social content, website, print, and outdoor.

Develops concepts, graphics, layouts, etc. including making decisions about fonts, images, readability, and reader's needs while adhering to the PCI brand standards. Determines size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size.
Creates finished artwork by operating necessary equipment and software, as well as coordinates, when necessary, final designs with agency partners and outside production companies.
When necessary, collaborates with agency partners and outside production companies to provide scaling, versioning and resizing as needed.
Liaising with external printers or productions teams to ensure deadlines are met and material is printed or presented to the highest quality.
Applies constructive criticism from stakeholders, peers, and leadership on projects to improve creative outcomes, as well as keeping them up to date on projects and explaining the rationale behind graphicdesign decisions.
Adheres to brand standards on all marketing programs.
Constantly develops skills and explores new creative techniques to improve design quality, keeping up to date with design and software trends.
Manages all assigned projects and proposals from beginning (typesetting and graphicdesign) to completion (print and production).

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in GraphicDesign, Fine Art Design, Marketing, or related field required.
Two (2) years of graphicdesign experience with multiple marketing campaigns in a professional work environment required.

Job Summary/Description:
WALA FOX10 is seeking a talented Graphic Artist. The individual we hire will be responsible for designinggraphics and animations for news on all platforms.
Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain current knowledge of newsroom needs (severe weather, breaking news, etc.)
- Consume local and national news content daily
- Must be able to serve as part of a team, work independently, and fill in for other creative roles as needed
- Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
- Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must be result-oriented, enthusiastic, and passionate about the creative process
- 3D animation (After Effects), Adobe Premiere, and Photoshop experience required
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred
- Strong understanding of the design techniques in the production of broadcast graphics
- Ability to develop and maintain a clear and consistent graphic look

The principal purpose this position is to provide graphicdesign, illustration, and print production for all major marketing and advertising pieces produced for the Division of Development and Alumni.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Implement design and creative direction of all marketing materials for the Division of Development and Alumni.
2. Collaborate with communication team members to achieve consistency in creative direction and design of external publications. This also includes working effectively with clients to translate their vision or need into an appropriate design that meets their marketing goal.
3. Design and produce high-quality marketing pieces that communicate a strategic university message to a broad audience in many different media formats (such as logos, stationary, brochures, direct mail solicitations, print ads, posters, newsletters, mailers, e mail campaigns).
4. Successfully manage multiple projects concurrently, while meeting project budget and deadlines. Also, recording a daily status update for each of the projects within the project management system.
5. Coordinate print jobs with printing vendors. This includes coordination, job estimating, file preparation, packaging and shipping of files and proofs, and communicating revisions or approvals.
6. Foster an innovative and creative environment that is responsive to the needs of the division while ensuring that brand identity standards and brand personality are reflected in all communications.
7. Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts or GraphicDesign
- Two years' experience
