Overview
Plan and manage the kitchen staff in the procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel in a safe, sanitary work environment which conforms to all standards and regulations and achieves profitable, competitive, quality products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Direct the day-to-day operations of all areas of the kitchen including outlets, banquets, stewarding, and purchasing.
* Manage Human Resources in the kitchen in order to attract, retain and motivate the associates while providing a safe environment. Interview, hire, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel, conduct performance and salary reviews, resolve problems, provide open communication vehicles, and discipline and terminate as appropriate.
* Plan and manage the procurement, production, preparation and presentation of all food in the hotel in a safe, sanitary, cost-effective manner.
* Monitor and control the maintenance/sanitation of kitchen, equipment, and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment which meets/exceeds federal, state, corporate and franchise standards and regulations.
* Develop, implement and manage the department's budget; continually analyze, forecast, monitor and control the labor and food costs through various methods to meet/exceed management/budget objectives.
* Develop and implement menus and back-up (use records, production lists, pars, training, etc...) within corporate guidelines to continually improve revenues and profit margins while maintaining quality.
* Execute and promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses.
* Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
* Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
* Two+ years of post-high school education, culinary education is desirable.
* Five+ years of employment in a related position.
* Hotel experience preferred.
* Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession. This includes experiential knowledge required for management of people and/or complex problems and food and beverage management.
* Knowledge of hotel operations, including marketing plans, security and safety programs, personnel and labor relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, hospitality law, and long-range planning.
* Leadership skills to motivate and develop staff and to ensure accomplishment of goals.
* Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.

JOB OVERVIEW:
Under the general direction of the Director of Security, the Overnight Security Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily activities of the Security Officers to ensure the safety and protection of all guests, employees, and property. The Overnight Security Supervisor ensures that security protocols are consistently followed, incidents are effectively managed, and a professional and visible security presence is maintained. Job Purpose:

What will I be doing?

Analysis of city events and activities and to project the effect of opportunities they create. Monitor competitive analysis. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Manage and maintain group and transient inventory controls:
* Daily review and implementation of room accommodation and rate inventory controls in Netrez / OnQ PMS and OnQ RMS. Includes weekly implementation of roll-in controls
* Ensure group inventory and cut-off dates are managed according to demand
* Implement all blackout dates in Netrez / OnQ and review monthly to determine if adjustments are needed
* Work with Director of Front Office to ensure that sellout strategies are in place, and OnQ PMS / Netrez are balanced daily
* Ensure OnQ FMS and General Ledger are balanced daily as it relates to past actuals
Develop, monitor and adjust sales and pricing strategies:
* Conduct a weekly Revenue Management Meeting where the appropriate booking period is evaluated for proper rate and availability control
* Provide a synopsis of results vs. decision from the previous week and lead discussion on future issues such as booking pace, pricing strategies, marketing opportunities and the competitive environment

Competitive and Demand Analysis:
* Review all competitive shops on a consistent basis (at least once per week) and identify selling strategies and market trends
* Review Demand calendars, convention calendars and city event calendars to keep abreast of all demand generators
* Maintain historical data on events and performance on any promotions during these demand-generating events

JOB OVERVIEW
Under the general guidance of the Director of Sales, the Director of Special Events is a highly strategic, influential, and operationally critical leadership role responsible for conceiving, curating, and executing all special events, catering programs, cultural activations, and brand-driven experiences across the property.
This position is central to the hotel's long-term success, serving as a key decision-maker in how Delano shows up in the market, engages its guests and members, and delivers high-impact programming. The Director will shape the creative vision while ensuring flawless operational execution, working closely with senior leadership-including C-suite stakeholders-to deliver experiences that elevate the brand and drive meaningful revenue.
The Director oversees all event planning, catering operations, vendor and talent partnerships, and on-site execution, ensuring each activation is delivered at a world-class level consistent with the Delano legacy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop and execute a comprehensive cultural, entertainment, and special events strategy aligned with Delano's brand and business objectives
