Overview
Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel, while providing positive guests experiences.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Overview

Overview
Responsible for the management of all aspects and functions of the Convention Services Department in accordance with Hotel standards. Coordinates arrangements and details for clients' functions. Directs, implements and maintains a management philosophy that serves as a guide to Convention Services staff.
Responsibilities
Anticipate client and individual guest needs associated with execution of event
Resolve complaints and requests to client satisfaction.
Maintain complete knowledge of daily scheduled group functions, times, locations, amount of people and specified requirements.
Review sales and labor costs for previous day; resolve discrepancies with Accounting. Track actuals against budget.
Manage group room blocks up until contracted “cut off”
Prepare accurate deposit invoices
Review Final bill for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and distribute, in a timely manner, accurate Banquet event orders.
Qualifications
Minimum (2) two years of college, degree desirable.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
At least 2 years experience in a similar position in similar operation preferred.
Experience with Delphi
Experience with Microsoft Office- particularly Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
Catering sales experience preferred
Knowledge of Superior relationship-building skills and able to effectively network.
Fluency in a foreign language preferred.

Overview
Maintain the building to ensure safe and clean experience for hotel guests, associates, and vendors. Provide Housekeeping Team direction and support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching, and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency.

Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses.
Respond to guest requests, concerns, and problems to ensure guest satisfaction.
Log items into the Lost and Found and answer inquiries to maintain controls and ensure guest satisfaction.
Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Housekeeping experience preferred.
Ability to grasp, lift, carry or otherwise move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.

Prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards and production and portion standards, per check from servers.
* Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs.
* Date all food containers and rotate as per HEI Hotels and Resorts standards, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
* Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out-of-stock items or possible shortages. Assist in keeping buffet stocked.

* Operate, maintain and properly clean deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron and flat top grill.
