This job provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Stay current with federal and state health care reform, legislative and regulatory activities and proposed changes, assessing impacts, advising Highmark's public and private positions and engaging as needed to shape regulatory and contract outcomes.
Develop and maintain positive, mutually beneficial relationships with strategic provider partners within the market. As needed, engage in provider relations escalated service issues to achieve high provider satisfaction and deliver quality care to members.

Position Overview
The purpose of this position is to serve as a liaison between patient/family, payers, Patient Financial Services, and other health care team members. Position Overview
The Patient Access Manager is responsible for leading all daily patient access operations, site-specific oversight of medical records management activities and day-to-day oversight of the dietary function in close collaboration with the registered dietician.
Essential Job Functions
Maintain compliance with EMTALA, DNV, HIPAA and all other hospital and government regulations applicable to admissions operations
Effectively manage and direct all areas of registration to ensure quality, productivity, and excellent customer service

Compile, analyze, and report data for Patient Access quality measures
Ensure collection of payments and cash drawer reconciliation
Prepare and make weekly deposits

Oversee day-to-day operations of patient nutrition services in close collaboration with the registered dietician
Ensure QA of site-specific medical records and share lessons learned with patient access team members and medical records director/consultant as needed
Interview, hire, train, evaluate, and counsel patient access team members
Provide continuous training for and communicate changes to existing employees
Ensure all personnel policies are followed
Work closely and professionally with regional and corporate partners on special projects
Provide focused education and training for patient access team members around point of service collections

Perform patient registration functions when needed to ensure wait times are kept to a minimum and to ensure patient access skills remain sharp
Distribute mail appropriately

Position Overview

Responsible for definition, planning and delivery of complex programs that require cross-functional collaboration and management of interdependencies between a group of projects and/or related activities within the constraint of scope, quality, time and budget. Includes the management of a group of internal exempt and/or matrixed employees and contractors that serve on the program(s) to deliver solutions for the business.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Works with business and technical organizations to drive out program strategy and approach. Organizes, plans, and maintains Program roadmap consisting of cross-functional activities/projects.
Work with business and technical organizations to assemble project teams. Lead Project Managers and Program team in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined program.
Work with Executive Sponsor and Business Owner of a Program, and other management as required, to achieve the Program objectives. Acquire understanding of the business objectives for an assigned area."
Monitor, evaluate and report on Program status inclusive of scope, schedule, budget and alignment to Program and strategic goals. Direct corrective action as needed to maintain the viability of the Program.
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships. Deliver presentations of project status to effectively communicate throughout the project lifecycle.
Adhere to Highmark project management methods, project lifecycle methodologies, and audit requirements. Support and contribute to the improvement of project management methods and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
High School Diploma or equivalent
One (1) to three (3) years experience performing project coordination activities such as analysis, information gathering, documentation preparation, project schedule maintenance, status report preparation, budget tracking, etc.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
PMP certification or equivalent training
Health Care Insurance industry business and operational knowledge
Leadership skills

Exposure to an industry standard software development lifecycle

$91,200.00
Base pay is determined by a variety of factors including a candidate's qualifications, experience, and expected contributions, as well as internal peer equity, market, and business considerations.
