Essential Functions:
• Provides services to older, disabled, or chronically ill clients in their homes, including the following:
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms (including floors)
- Laundry
- Linen changing
- Supplemental grocery shopping and light meal preparation as needed
• Represents Jewish Family Service in the homes of clients and in the community.
• Reports any problems/concerns of the client to the Field Staff Supervisor.
• Attends scheduled supervisory and other mandatory agency meetings and trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Off-Site Position:
Work primarily takes place in the community with occasional requirements to be at
the home office at 3201 South Tamarac Dr., Denver 80231. Work hours are during regular business
hours, with occasional flexibility required to support agency needs.

Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
- Preferred one year of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience in housekeeping/cleaning in apartments and private homes.
Other:
- Attention to detail and timeliness are essential.
- Knowledge of aging and disabilities.
- Ability to communicate by phone.
- Ability to comprehend and complete daily logs, delivery logs, mileage sheets, and schedules.
- A valid driver's license, access to reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance are required.
- Employees must maintain a driving record that meets agency insurance requirements and be able to travel to multiple sites or community locations as part of regular job duties.
- Mileage reimbursement is provided in accordance with agency policy.
- Ability to provide good client and customer service.
- This job requires being pleasant with others on the job and displaying a cooperative attitude while being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.
Essential physical requirements:
Requires the ability to adequately perform homemaking tasks, i.e., cleaning, laundry, light meal preparation, and clean-up, errands, etc.
Must have the physical ability necessary to perform required tasks (carry bags of groceries, move light furniture, etc.).
Must be able to bend, stoop, and perform push/pull motions to perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, using a
vacuum cleaner, dusting furniture, etc. Must have the ability to grasp or hold items such as washcloths,
dust cloths, dishes, clothing, etc.
The employee is regularly required to travel between sites, communicate effectively, and use standard office and mobile equipment.
The employee may regularly be required to lift 50 pounds or more.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a part-time position. Purpose of Position: Provide assistance and adoption counseling to shelter patrons.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-level customer service to the organization's patrons.
Meet with potential adopters to gather and give information to assist in the process of adopting an animal.

Perform data entry to update animal records.
Handle and move animals and facilitate the interaction between animals and patrons.
Provide food, water and care for animals, including at least 2 holiday Animal Care shifts per calendar year.
Clean and maintain adoption counsel rooms and areas.
Contribute to and lead initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
Act as a resource for volunteers by answering questions, providing training and coaching in the moment, and addressing concerns.
Perform euthanasia and related tasks.

Responsibilities
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
Provide basic support with ambulation, transfers, and safe positioning.
Assist with meal preparation and basic nutrition reminders.
Perform light housekeeping duties to promote a clean and safe home environment.
Offer companionship and engage in appropriate supportive interaction.
Document time worked and services rendered per agency requirements.
Report observed changes in patient condition to designated agency personnel.
Maintain confidentiality and patient dignity in accordance with HIPAA and agency standards.
ASSIGNMENT LIMITATIONS:
Contractor shall not administer medications or perform any clinical procedures.
Contractor shall not modify care plans or provide medical advice.
Contractor shall not offer or arrange transportation services.
Contractor shall not supervise others or represent UEW in any official capacity.
Qualifications LICENSURE & QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
In some states, completion of a state-approved PCA training program may be required.
In some states, PCA contractors must be listed on the applicable aide registry or credential database.
Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Previous experience in personal care, home health, or caregiving strongly preferred.
Reliable personal transportation required for travel to patient homes and the regional office, as needed.
Pay Range USD $17.00 - USD $20.00 /Hr.
