Keeps current on and follows individual homemaker participant care plans in AxisCare at all times.
Uses proper universal and standard precautions at all times according to PACE-RI policy and procedure.
Observes participants for emotional, behavioral, and physical changes in condition including, but not limited to any changes in mood, food/fluid intake, speech, ambulation and transfer ability, or other concerns as reported by participant. Promptly reports participant change of condition to supervisor or nursing staff.
Provides behavioral supervision and support for participants, monitors for and responds to behavioral disturbances such as wandering, agitation, restlessness, exit seeking, etc.

HOURS: 7:00 - 8:45 am and 3:00 - 5:00 pm
The Before and After School Program team is responsible for:
Facilitating hands-on activities following the Healthy Kids Curriculum which includes fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and other group activities as well as homework assistance.
Providing a safe, healthy, clean, and fun environment and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.
Reporting to the program ready to work at designated times and be prepared to stay until the last child leaves the program.
Communicating daily with parents and family members via the Playground App.
Observing and following state guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school policies.
Certain positions may also perform management functions such as accurate attendance records, registration, and staffing.
Requirements
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat. Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.

What's it like on our sitter team?
Our sitters work 2-5 days per week between the hours of 8am-6pm, providing care for multiple families with children of all ages from infant to 12+, typically within a 30 minute drive of their homes.
They create a safe environment for the children in their care to learn and play.
They engage the children in creative arts & activities, as well as outdoor fun.
They leave it better for the families by making sure all kid-friendly messes are cleaned up before they go.

You enter your availability to care for families, we handle the scheduling for you - all on a user-friendly mobile app.
Sitter Requirements
Transportation: A valid driver's license and reliable car - transportation is part of the adventure!
Childcare Experience: You have experience caring for children for at least 2 years - great!
Consistent Schedule: You are ready to have some fun and have availability from 8am-6pm to work with a family in a 6-9 hour shift.
You are: At least 18 years of age, able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States, and willing/able to pass a thorough background check, including a driving record check in accordance with local law.
