II. DEPARTMENT: Main Bar
The primary objective of this position is to offer drinks and excellent customer service to all dining room guests.
IV. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greets all guest with enthusiasm and friendliness.
Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards.
Set up bar for drink orders and keep bar organized and clean throughout shift.
Properly receiving and storing all beverages in the bar.
Controlling and monitoring all drinks served from the bar to be compliant with all NC beverage laws.
Answers guest questions about beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly manner.
Does side work during non-busy hours.
Speaks to guests with enthusiasm at all times.
Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards..
Maintains a professional appearance at all times.
Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position.
Maintains a professional relationship with all coworkers.
Follows standard operating procedures.
Maintains a safe, clean, organized, and stocked work area.
Performs duties as assigned.
Maintains full knowledge of beverage menus, and other pertinent information.
Constantly increasing knowledge of beverages, and other products and services.
Ensures that guest have a positive and memorable experience.
Responsible of constant sanitation, organization, and proper beverage handling.
Prepares work area for opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards.
Other duties as assigned by the Dining Room Manager.

Help other employees when needed. Refer guest requests or concerns to appropriate department. Report pertinent information to the next shift orally and in log books. Respond to guest issues received by other employees. Continue and maintain a working relationship with other employees.
Each employee is part of the hotel security team and is responsible for reporting any potential hazards to the management and should investigate in the absence of the manager any alleged injuries which occur on the premises. About the Venue
The Greensboro Complex is a versatile multi-building facility that serves the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, such as athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, exhibits, as well as public and private gatherings, including conventions, convocations, trade shows, and consumer shows. It plays a crucial role as a hub of community activities and significantly contributes to the regional economy. The Complex is made up of nine venues, the largest being the renowned 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, which has a storied history of hosting prestigious ACC and NCAA basketball championships, and a concert history featuring legendary artists like Paul McCartney, Garth Brooks, and Phish, as well as today's biggest artists like Drake, Bad Bunny, and Taylor Swift. The Complex also includes the 167,000-square foot Special Events Center, encompassing three exhibition halls, a 4,500-seat mini-arena, and eight meeting rooms. Responsibilities
Ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders.
Ability to carry at least 8 entrees per tray.
Provide fine dining level food and beverage service to guests for all events consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Initiate and maintain friendly and professional contact with guests ensuring that all needs are anticipated and met.
Setup and maintain both food and beverage stations in various locations throughout the building consistent with DLTCC standards of service.
Maintain and inventory for both food and beverage stations.
Maintain all event areas and front of house staging areas in a tidy and organized manner.
Participate in both setup and cleanup of food and beverage service items.
Ability to work independently during slower times
Perform safe work by helping to provide a safe and clean work environment.
