Description The Tech Ops Specialist will work with other Tyler employees to ensure timely and high-quality support of applicable hardware as well as setup, configuration and shipping of new and add-on hardware purchases. It will require a high level of technical knowledge and good organizational skills. This position will report to the Support Manager. Responsibilities
Provide hardware support for Tyler-developed products for internal employees (demos, training, sales, testing, etc)
Work with Operations and Support teams to perform duties related to internal software and hardware audits, licensing, inventories and more.
Maintain constant communication with support Manager on status of projects, issues and maintenance tasks.
Setup and configure client hardware as a part of initial go-lives or add-on purchases
Work with client to facilitate repairs and warranty claims on hardware
Troubleshoot hardware issues for clients and team members.
Manage inbound and outbound shipments of hardware to clients
Manages open calls by identifying and prioritizing issues according to published policies.
Identifies and meets service measurements and metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Collaborates with other teams, departments and divisions with issues pertaining to Tyler hardware.
Contribute to company knowledge library.
Conduct training for end-users.
Follows documented Tyler Technologies policies and procedures.
Become a trusted resource by providing service that consistently demonstrates strong product knowledge and work ethic.
Evaluate the severity of an issue and determine if management intervention is necessary to address a serious problem in a timely manner.
Provide support in the various internal environments related to many Tyler Technologies applications.

Participates in training appropriate Bureau of Prisons staff in the theory and practices of Quality Improvement.
Responsible for coordinating the overall Health Care Risk Management activities across the Region.
Responsible for providing expert advice to the Regional Health Services Administrator and coordinating with the Chief, Office of Quality Management in formulating relevant management control systems to be used by the affected institutions.
Assists each institution in developing local quality improvement programs, consistent with national policy and priorities.

The Senior IT Professional II, as a member of the IT Operations & Support department, under general direction, provides technical leadership for administering multiple complex SaaS applications and other services and ensuring compliance with the unit's technical standards on behalf of the Texas A&M University System.

- Configure and maintain the LERMS and other SaaS applications (e.g., document management, workflow automation, collaboration tools).
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with vendors for resolution.

The Systems Engineer Ill - Research Technology Support, under general supervision, collaborates with other Systems Engineers and IT personnel to assist with defining technology problems and solutions. - Develop training materials and conduct one-on-one or group training for research users on secure computing, data workflows, software usage, and new IT offerings.
- Maintain clear documentation for system configurations and research-specific deployments.
Operational IT Support
- Provide targeted operational IT support within research spaces.
- Troubleshoot hardware/software/network issues.
- Perform basic AV setup for research demos and meetings.
- Participate in on-call support rotation.

Education and Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Six years of related experience.
Registration, Certifications, and Licenses:
- Must be able to gain and maintain a DoD (Department of Defense) security clearance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with complex compute, data, and network environments, preferably within a research or technical environment.
- Experience collaborating between technology partners, both internal and external.
- Experience with Linux and Windows server/workstation administration.
- Experience with federal research compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-171, ITAR/EAR).
- Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues across heterogeneous environments.
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Advanced skill in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, audio/video tools, collaboration and other software
- Ability to handle confidential and time sensitive issues
- Strong understanding of security policies, controlled environments, and data lifecycle management.
- Ability to lift medium (20-40 lbs.) size boxes or equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in all-weather conditions.
- Ability to climb stairs (equipment on elevated structures, etc.)

- Experience in Research Development Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) technical subject areas of: Networks, Cybersecurity, Instrumentation & Data Analytics, Modeling & Simulation, Test Support & Operations, and Avionics.
- Professional Industry certifications.
- Active security clearance (SECRET or higher).
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.

* Experience with video and audio conferencing, project management, CODECs, Cisco TMS, AV camera operation and deployment.
* Site survey design, experience with CAT5/6 cabling terminations.
* Knowledge of AV deployment design, room design, AV configuration tools, Crestron, Biamp, AMX, Vaddio products.
* Ability to add documents to share points.
* Ability to setup zoom meetings and share content.
* Ability to manage vendors and projects.
* Audio Visual (AV) test procedures for conferencing, camera, and audio testing.
* Ability to access back-office management products.
