Intern Position Summary
The IT Infrastructure Operations Intern will work with the Director, Infrastructure Engineering, serving as a technical resource on multiple projects at the CSBS. The candidate will assist the Enterprise Infrastructure team with support tasks such as: end-user support (assisting helpdesk if necessary), Microsoft M365 Office applications and services, end user hardware & software, mobile devices, conference room audio visual solutions, and Amazon Web Services environment. I. General Summary

I. General Summary
Under general supervision, performs moderately complex administrative duties including processing requests for Protected Health Information (PHI) that contain patient authorization and other noncompulsory requests that do not require a signed authorization. High school graduate or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited Health Record Technician program with RHIT preferred.

About The Navys Advanced Electronics / Computer Field (AECF) offers extensive training in electronics, computer systems, radar, communications, and weapons fire control systems, including the Navys advanced missile systems and Aegis radar. These technicians are essential to the ships Combat Systems department, ensuring readiness for combat operations across the fleet.
Responsibilities
As an Electronics Technician (ET) or Fire Controlman (FC), you may:
Maintain and repair radar, communication, and navigation equipment.
Operate, maintain, and repair fire control radars, mainframe computers, large screen displays, LANs, weapon control consoles, and automatic gun systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electro-mechanical systems used in weapons systems.
Support combat systems readiness aboard aircraft carriers, Aegis cruisers, and other surface ships.
Work Environment
ETs and FCs serve on fleet units worldwide and at shore-based repair facilities. Expect assignments aboard ships, at remote stations, and in technical repair shops. Work is highly technical, requiring precision and teamwork.

Apprentice Technical Training Great Lakes, IL (11 weeks)
FC Strand Great Lakes, IL (16 weeks)
ET Strand Great Lakes, IL (22 weeks) Training covers electronics theory, radar systems, communications suites, missile and gun system ballistics, troubleshooting, and fiber optics. After A School, technicians may attend advanced C Schools. College credits are often available for Navy training.

Position Overview:
As a Computer Scientist Intern at Rackner, you will have the chance to work closely with our team of experienced computer scientists and engineers on challenging and impactful projects. You will be involved in research, development, and problem-solving, helping to shape the future of technology. This internship is designed to provide you with valuable real-world experience in a supportive and innovative environment. The primary objectives will be around automation of business processes and conducting research and development for DevSecOps tools. We intend to hire many interns with similar responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the R&D team to design, develop, and implement software solutions and algorithms.
Conduct research on emerging technologies and industry trends to support project development.
Assist in troubleshooting and debugging software issues.
Participate in coding, testing, and documentation of software components.
Analyze and interpret data to generate insights and support decision-making.
Work on cross-functional projects and contribute to team discussions.
Learn and apply computer science principles to solve complex problems.
10 hours/week during the school year, 40 hours/week in the summer, >51% of the time will be in office
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or similar.
Familiarity with data structures, algorithms, and software development methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and evolving tech environment.
Passion for technology and a desire to contribute to innovative projects.
Must be able to prove HUBZone occupancy in the current year* within the first week of employment using one of the following methods
