Daniel brings 30 years of experience in leading global businesses and driving profitable growth through technology-based innovation across the education, healthcare, technology, and services markets. Most recently, Daniel was the CEO of Renaissance, a leading SaaS provider of K-12 learning analytics. He also served as the President, CEO and Director of Adtalem Global Education (formerly DeVry Education Group), a global higher education leader with over $2billion in revenues. Daniel led that organization from 2006 through 2016 and drove its transformation from a domestic, single university to an industry-leading institution serving students across multiple geographies and disciplines. Previously, Daniel served as CEO of Indeliq, a SaaS-based learning management system provider backed by Accenture. Before that, he served as President of Internet Commerce for W.W. Grainger. Daniel earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in industrial and operations engineering from the University of Michigan and his MBA from Harvard Business School.

Mark Gruzin is the Chief Executive Officer for Frontline Education. He is responsible for Frontline’s core strategy and vision, leading the organization in our service of the K-12 education community. Mark also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for Frontline Education. Mark comes to Frontline Education from Blackboard, an educational technology company, where he served as president of global markets. Prior to his work with Blackboard, Gruzin held multiple executive roles in IBM’s software group. Mark’s core competencies include organizational leadership and execution, business strategy and innovation, operational readiness and driving business performance. He brings all of these areas of expertise and more to Frontline Education including his passion, both personally and professionally, to align with mission-oriented organizations. Mark attended the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business. As an active member of the community, He also served on the Board of Director’s for the National Fragile X Foundation and is a Special Olympics Coach.
