Bethel University - Sign Language Interpreting Program Bethel University is seeking a part-time staff Sign Language Interpreter to support the University's Sign Language Interpreting Program beginning August 2025. This position is responsible for providing high-quality interpreting services for Deaf faculty members in classroom settings, faculty meetings, and other university-related activities. Responsibilities may include: Provide sign language interpretation for Deaf faculty in instructional settings, academic meetings, and campus events. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to facilitate clear and inclusive communication. Transcribes and translates pertinent calls and documents as assigned by their supervisor. Produce court ready transcriptions of pertinent calls, chats, and documents, following the required format. Responsible for using the various reference tools created during the project. Ability to transcribe a minimum of 16 minutes of recorded conversation in an 8-hour day.
