Istanbul Arel University company history timeline
It was founded on May 18, 2007, by Kamal Gosyukara and the Education and Culture Foundation, It has a rank of 117 in Turkey and 6599 among the world’s universities.
With the completion of Büyükçekmece-Tepekent Campus in 2010, undergraduate education units moved to Tepekent Campus, and vocational schools and institutes continued their education in Sefaköy Campus.
At the University's Senate meeting dated 06.03.2012 and numbered 20.12-04, a decision was made that the establishment of the Faculty of Medicine was deemed appropriate and presented to the Board of Trustees.
On March 14, 2016 the foundation of Istanbul Arel University Faculty of Medicine was decided by the Council of Ministers to the additional Article 30 of Law No.
An agreement was once held with the DHBW Loerrach in December 2018 with the objective of growing student and professorial exchanges and frequent instructional projects.
The name of Tepekent Campus, located in Tepekent, has been changed to Kemal Gözükara Campus with the Senate decision taken in 2018.
Since 2018 Oezguer Goezuekara (the son of the benefactor) has been chairman of the Board of Trustees of Arel University.
Doctor Mustafa Cem UZAL was appointed to the Dean's Office of Faculty of Medicine on April 28, 2021 and has been serving as Dean.
