POSITION TITLE: Full-Time Car Wash Technician / Express Detailer
SUPERVISOR: This employee reports to the Car Wash General Manager and Assistant Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Our goal as a Company is to WOW our customers by getting their vehicles SPARKLY CLEAN FAST, while providing a fun and active environment for our Crew Members! We expect all our employees to provide excellent customer service while assisting customers through the entire car wash & detailing process.
Requirements to apply:
Candidate must have reliable transportation to get to and from work each day.
Although previous experience is desirable, it is NOT required. If you bring the enthusiasm and commitment to learn - we will teach you the rest!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Under direct supervision of the Car Wash Manager and Assistant Manager this position will have the following responsibilities:
General Skills -
Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, or as a team with other Crew Members, work under pressure, being prompt for your shift and flexible for the needs of the business.
Cleaning Rims and applying Tire Shine.
Cleaning & Conditioning the Hard Surfaces in the vehicle.
Cleaning windows inside and out.
Using an air hose to clean out all cracks and crevices.
Cleaning doorjambs.
Vacuuming Seats, Carpets and Mats.
Shampooing Seats, Carpets and Mats.
Light Engine Compartment Cleaning.
Running an Orbital Polisher to hand wax the exterior of a vehicle.
Hand Washing & Hand Drying vehicles.
Pre-Wash excessively dirty vehicles before they go in the tunnel if necessary.
Express details must be completed according to procedure and completed in specific time constraints.
Monitors and inspects the car wash tunnel for any malfunctions or emergencies
Assists customers with various questions
COLLATERAL DUTIES:
Pick up trash and keep Car Wash area and parking lot clean & free of debris.
Collect trach & recyclables.
Putting out caution cones as needed.
Traffic control and driving cars.
Other duties as assigned.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT THAT MAY BE USED:
Car wash equipment, compressors, hoses, towel washing machine, various products, and chemicals for cleaning.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for long periods of time, move around the facility from one location to another, talk, hear, use fingers to type, handle or feel and reach objects and lift and/or move objects 20 pounds or less. The employee may occasionally need to kneel, crawl, stoop, bend and lift and/or move items 30 pounds or more. Specific vision ability required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position primarily operates in an outdoor environment including the hot sun, cold, rain and other inclement weather conditions.
This position requires ability to move about the facility in the various weather conditions.
This position is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and high levels of noise from various car wash machinery and equipment.
This position requires work on weekends and most holidays. Holiday hours will be paid at a higher rate than normal.
