CEC is currently seeking a Building Trades Foreman to support various building, concrete, and general contracting projects. Whether you're in Davenport at our sister company, Linwood Mining & Minerals, onsite in an industrial setting in Muscatine, or working on various projects in the Clinton, IA area, you will be working within a 2-hour radius alongside a team to ensure that projects are completed safely and efficiently.
What can you expect in this role?
Our Foremenare responsible for working closely with Superintendents and fellow team members to ensure accuracy on the job sites and assist in project completion and troubleshooting. Foremen must be well-rounded inbuilding work(steel erection, wood/post frame, fabrication, etc.),concrete work(slabs, foundations, pre-build work, etc.), andgeneral contracting work. This position will oversee the field operations on multiple projects, including tracking production quantities and comparing estimated costs in order to meet or exceed job specifications. In addition, the Foreman is key to ensuring safety, supervising field personnel, and communicating effectively with multiple teams. This position requires a high degree of accuracy, trouble shooting and critical thinking.

Requirements
2 years of proven experience leading a crew
2+ years of professional concrete experience
Must live within a 2-hour drive of CAT Scale headquarters in Walcott, Iowa.
Must have excellent customer service skills
Ability to effectively communicate, lead, motivate, and work with all types of people
Responsible for the protection and maintenance of physical equipment and company assets
Able to work successfully under limited supervision
Must be accountable for your actions, be detail-oriented, and take initiative to complete projects
Ability to lift and move 50-75 pounds regularly
Must be able to stand, kneel, and bend over for long periods
Work outside during all types of weather.
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time, or 2-3 weeks at a time, throughout the United States
Ensure all safety guidelines and organizational best practices are always followed.
Experience operating a skid steer, mini excavator, and other equipment is a plus.
License
Valid Class A CDL, OR a clean driving record, and eligibility to obtain
