Summary
We are currently looking for a Pipelining Foreman to join our Underground & Pipelining Division in the Escondido, CA area. The Foreman responsible for leading, directing and coordinating the installation of UV-cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) on stormwater and wastewater rehabilitation and repair projects throughout Southern California. Other underground scopes of work include the installation and repair of sewer gravity and force mains, laterals, manholes, wet wells and pump stations, water mains, valves, fire hydrants, drains and air/vacs. Duties and Responsibilities
Function as working Foreman while leading and supervising employees, subcontractors, and vendors to complete underground construction and UV CIPP lining projects
Collaborate with project team to create schedules and determine sequencing of work. Develop and implement strategies to maintain project schedule, as requested.
Perform site investigations and assist with putting together labor and equipment hours for bids/proposals as needed
Work closely with Superintendent to resolve problems related to procedures, project clarifications, adequate labor, equipment schedules and repairs, and other related matters
Operate power construction equipment to facilitate scope of work required on project; including, but not limited to UV CIPP trucks, earth moving, excavation, material handling, aerial, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, skid steers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, street sweepers, forklifts, shooting boom forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts
Review, complete, and submit required daily documentation for time sheets, daily reports, and safety paperwork
Supervise and develop field employees, provide feedback and discipline as needed
Display high level of teamwork, integrity, commitment, and leadership in daily operations
Ability to travel and accommodate extended hours, alternative shifts (night or weekend) as needed
Ability to maintain security clearance for base access

Complete the Excavation Checklist form at the beginning of each job and file the form in the Foreman's Job Binder.
In coordination with Purchasing, return all excess materials, supplies and equipment from the job site as soon as they are no longer needed at the job site.
Each week, plan the next week's job activities in order to determine the number of crew members needed each day to complete the work and schedule deliveries of materials, supplies and equipment when needed.
Review this weekly look-ahead plan with the Field Superintendent.
Provide supervision and direction to all crew members at all times. If an employee is not performing their work in a satisfactory manner, direct the employee to cease work, leave the job site and report to the Field.
Superintendent for appropriate corrective action.
Cooperate and coordinate with other trades on the job site. Respect the work of other trades as if it was BPC's work.
Monitor employee job performance, productivity and the size of the work crew and increase or decrease the number of crew members to match job requirements. Immediately notify the Field Superintendent of the availability of un-needed crew members so they can be reassigned to other job sites.
Responsible to ensure that only qualified operators run the equipment.
Immediately returns rental equipment to the rental agency when it is no longer needed at the job site.
Assures that all rental equipment that needs to be returned with a full tank of fuel has a full tank of the correct fuel.
Manages the job so all work that requires a particular piece of rental equipment is done at the same time thereby assuring the shortest rental period possible.
This position is also responsible for accomplishing any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Field Superintendent.
Safety
Conduct weekly tail-gate safety meetings with all crew members and see to it that all related forms and attendance sheets are completed by the employees attending the safety meetings. Keep copies of the tailgate safety meeting records in the Foreman's Binder relating to the job.
Report all employee accidents immediately to the Office and the Field Superintendent and immediately complete all accident forms and submit them to the Field Superintendent.
See to it that any injured employee immediately seeks appropriate medical attention.
Sees to it that all employees wear all appropriate protective safety gear and follow all safety regulations and requirements while on the job site.
Keep all work and the job site clean and safe (equipment, bin area, lay down space, supplies and materials.

SUMMARY: The Site Supervisor works under the supervision of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the leadership team to design, implement, evaluate and enforce culturally and developmentally age-appropriate programs for all children at MWPCCC. The Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall day-to-day operation of the center, implementing program policies and procedures, and ensuring that all regulations and requirements for licensing are met and maintained. This position requires some paid overtime after-hours, evenings and weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the philosophy, policies, and procedures of MWPCCC are upheld, and implementation are aligned with Title 22 regulations and NAEYC Accreditation Standards.
Implement State licensing regulations for the center and maintains are appropriate records.
Ensure the center, rooms, and play area are maintained in a clean, orderly, and safe condition and intentional for childrens learning at all times.
Maintain appropriate staff level to accommodate children enrolled in the program in accordance with CCLD regulations and aligned with NAEYC Accreditation Standards.
Monitor and maintain child enrollment to ensure fiscal viability of the center and maintain accurate fiscal reporting to Executive Director is accurate for fiscal reporting.
Oversee parent-teacher conferences in accordance with program regulations and ensure each child is assessed using DRDP.
Monitor teachers to ensure quality of teaching methods and support for program goals. Ensure that staff consistently complete, submit, and facilitate classroom curriculum on a weekly basis.
Report incidents of suspected child abuse to proper authorities.
Plan and coordinate staff meetings to promote ongoing communication.
Work in the classrooms as a teacher on an as needed basis for coverage and for training purposes.
Attend and collaborate with the Executive Director and Center Admin in delivery of team and group meetings that meet the needs of MWPCCC including hiring and training of staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Certificates, Training and Immunizations required:
CPR Infant & Child Certification.
First Aid Certification.
Must have current immunization shots: including MMR, Tdap, TB test, Influenza Shot or waiver.
Must be up to date on all required trainings set forth by the Community Care Licensing division of the Department of Social Services.
Computer skills required: Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); and Presentation software (PowerPoint).
