Some experience may be substituted with equivalent related construction or electrical experience. Operates and performs basic field maintenance on all equipment including but not limited to; aerial lift/bucket trucks, trenchers, derrick/digger trucks, cranes, backhoes, trackhoes, air compressors, and concrete saw. Operates Gas torches (cutting and brazing). Proficient with basic and specialized hand tools and power tools. Familiar with the MUTCD, NEC, CDOT & Local specifications & standards, Customer and Project specific specifications and standards. Proficiently read plans and schematic diagrams. Proficient with computer skills. Proficient at programming and setting up controllers, conflict monitors / MMU's, video detection, and communications equipment. Proficient at traffic signal wiring. Efficiently supervise others, proficient problem solving, proper decision making. Perform heavy physical work, often under adverse weather conditions. Follow and transmit clear written and verbal instructions. Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and the public. Maintain an effective working relationship with others. CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS, and TRAINING: Possess and maintain valid Colorado commercial driver's license (CDL class A). Maintain a valid medical card if you have a CDL driver's license. Be insurable. Complete OSHA 30 hour training. “Competent Person” Hazard Communications/MSDS, CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, Hantavirus, Respiratory Protection Bucket Truck/Aerial Lift, and fall protection. Validate work completion, documentation accuracy, and readiness for Quality inspection. Operational Coordination Coordinate closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering, and Parts/Logistics teams.
