Summary

Essential Functions
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver analytical insights in a uniform, consumable format
Make data-driven business recommendations to leadership and membership based on results/trends identified in data analysis
Design, and implement descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytical models for use across a wide range of business cases such as customer segmentations, sales planning, and marketing.
Collaborate with IT to enable data and system architectures that simplify data accessibility, collection and curation for analytical purposes
Own the process of gathering, extracting, and compiling data across sources via relevant tools (i.e. SQL, R, Python)
Develop dashboards which drive actionable insights; educate stakeholders to drive adoption of reporting.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment across Wakefern

Qualifications

Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, & SAS/SQL are required, VBA a plus
Proficient in Data Visuals & Data Visualization tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
Familiarity with Google Cloud tools (i.e. BigQuery & Vertex AI) and database structures

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $130,000 annually. Placement in the range depends on several factors, including experience, skills, education, geography, and budget considerations.

In this role, support financial operations by ensuring accurate, timely, and effective management of customer accounts within our Shared Service Center. They play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow, resolving account discrepancies, and delivering exceptional customer service that reflects the company's commitment to operational excellence.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances and accurate application of payments.
* Monitor account activity to identify trends, resolve discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date records.
* Communicate proactively with customers to address billing questions, payment schedules, and account status.
* Build strong working relationships that promote prompt resolution and positive business interactions.
* Maintain thorough, accurate account histories within company systems.
* Review supporting documentation-such as contracts and service records-to confirm adherence to payment terms and company policies.
* Partner with field operations, management, and Shared Service Center colleagues to align on collection strategies, troubleshoot issues, and support organizational financial goals.
* Participate in regular meetings to review account status and next steps.
* Investigate and reconcile account variances by researching unapplied cash, misapplied payments, or open credits.
* Use sound judgment and analytical skills to recommend appropriate solutions and escalation strategies.
* Identify opportunities to enhance Accounts Receivable processes, streamline communication between departments, and improve overall collection efficiency
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; HS Diploma required
* Experience within a Shared Service environment.
* Experience using MS Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel
* Prioritizing and multi-tasking, working well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
* Ability to handle sensitive information, maintain a high level of data entry accuracy, and adhere to strict deadlines is essential.
* Able to display effective interpersonal skills with all levels of employee, as well as the ability to communicate positively and effectively, verbally and in writing.
* Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
* Advance English level.
