    Assist the Faculty Coordinator of Graphic Design and New Media with the management, inventory and maintenance of the Graphic Design and New Media lab. The Graphic Design and New Media lab consists of one Mac computer lab in R133, an audio recording room, and a video and audio equipment closet. Along with the upkeep and maintenance of the Macintosh computers and printers within the lab, the assistant will monitor, charge, check-in and out media equipment and should be invested in understanding how the equipment works along with being willing to troubleshoot, research, and test equipment when necessary. The assistant supports the R133 gallery and should also be open to additional support duties related to the Graphic Design and New Media programs as assigned. Students must have experience with Macintosh computers and be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours at the time of application and during the term(s) that the student plans to work. Experience with video and audio equipment and web design and development is a plus. The ideal candidate would also be a part time student studying Graphic Design, New Media, or Web Design and Development (Bachelor's Degree).
