Qualifications
Required

Experience handling litigation related to foreclosure, including TROs and contested matters.
Hands-on experience with:
HELOC foreclosures
Reverse mortgage foreclosures
Probate matters related to foreclosure
Experience managing a high-volume creditors' rights caseload.
Proven leadership and team management experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of professionalism, ownership, and attention to detail.
Preferred
Multiple bar licenses in other creditors' rights states.
Prior experience as a managing attorney or office lead.
Industry relationships with Texas mortgage servicers or lenders.

About the Role
The Managing Attorney - Staff Counsel is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing the in-house litigation team. Responsibilities
I. Leadership and Management

II. Litigation and Legal Oversight

Qualifications

7+ years of relevant legal experience, ideally in litigation, including insurance defense or personal injury.
Strong understanding of insurance company operations, contracts, policy forms, and state filing processes.
