Responsibilities:
Litigation support
Work on general corporate matters
Work on real estate, mortgage, and/or notarial matters
Support all practice areas of the firm, as needed
Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals
Attend court hearings or other legal proceedings, perform legal research, and work closely with senior associate attorneys
Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings
Organize and maintain files to ensure accuracy for other attorneys, paralegals, and staff
Qualifications:
Notary Public (or pending admission)
Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English)
Experience as a law clerk or paralegal would be a plus
Willingness to take the USDC Bar Exam in short order (if not available)
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are needed in order to work with all levels of staff and clients
Willingness to learn from senior lawyers to meet client needs and grow client base
Has a Juris Doctor - J.D. degree from an accredited law school, with solid academic credentials.

Job Responsibilities Include:
* Investigate and diagnose a client's individual and/or business tax problems
* Draft solution-oriented recommendations, addressing specific clients' tax issues on a consistent basis
* Use strong analytical ability to conduct tax related research
* Regular communication with both the IRS and relevant State Taxing Authorities to provide effective representation in client's individual and business tax issues
