Job Responsibilities:
The Maintenance Group Leader will be responsible for leading a group of Skilled employees to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment and processes.
This role requires you to consistently administer National and Local Agreement between company and the United Auto Workers Union. The work is of a technical nature and requires you to use independent judgment within the limits of Global Manufacturing Systems, focusing on Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, Cost, and Environment (SPQRCE).
Selected candidates will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as influencing the development of manufacturing processes to support this historical and game-changing progression to electric and autonomous vehicles.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
• One year of direct team supervisory experience or at least 5 months as an internal per diem group leader
• Experience reading and understanding electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints
• Experience coordinating, managing, addressing performance concerns, and leading people in a fast-paced environment
• Experience solving complex problems and working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, experience managing conflict and making decisions in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment
• Basic computer proficiency (i.e. Microsoft Word, typing, email etc.)
• Must be willing to work weekends and rotating shifts

Including: ensuring all safety equipment is in good working order and available for employee use as needed.

Including: daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and semi-annual inspections. Verify that these tasks are completed in a timely fashion and records are kept in accordance with the company's quality policy.
· Prioritize and assign the requests for maintenance “QF810”, verify their completion and keep the records in accordance with the company's quality policy.
· Monitor our stock of critical parts, consumables and supplies.
Order replacements when stocks are getting low.
· Monitor the stock of scrap stainless steel and other valuable scrap materials.
Notify the maintenance director when the need for a scrap pick up is required.
· Keep the MSDS book up to date. Add any new materials to it in a timely fashion.
Remove any MSDS sheets from the book when the materials are no longer in our facility.
· Coordinate with the maintenance director for any special projects that arise.
To assure procurement of materials and manpower needs.
· Assure the proper use of the company's lock out/tag out, confined space and hazard communication plans and to keep records in accordance with the company's quality policy.
Additional duties/responsibilities:
· Must have knowledge of the proper use of all hand tools.
· Must be able to read and utilize blueprints and electrical diagrams for trouble shooting purposes.
· Must gain or possess an understanding of our equipment.
including: combustion systems, temperature controllers, drive systems, and HMI interface to utilize the equipment.
· Must have experience in pipe fitting, welding, grinding and fabrication.
· Must be able to communicate effectively in all aspects of their duties.
· Oversee and assist in the repairs of the company's equipment.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER
RESPONSIBLITIES:
* Support the Company's mission, vision, values and goals in performance of daily activities
* Responsible for performance feedback and leadership of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situation dictate
* Provide key input into the development of the corporate and department strategic business plan and identify and track key measurable to support corporate and department business plan goals
* Develop and drive the development of departmental strategic goals and identify and track key measurable to support the department goals
* Responsible for leading all maintenance activities
* Direct and drive the utilization of problem-solving methods for related corporate and customer issues
* Ensures that all utility systems are fully operational and inspected in accordance with preventative maintenance schedules
* Implement method to improve productivity capabilities and solve operation problems
* Implement cost savings, renovations and safety projects for the plant
* Administer preventive maintenance programs, emergency repair of production equipment, and support facilities and production equipment changeover
* Assure all direct reports are aware of their Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) responsibilities and hold all direct reports accountable
* Direct maintenance and engineering department process improvements and corrective actions
* Provide leadership essential to maintaining safety as a fundamental priority in department based activities
* Interface with customers and suppliers as appropriate
* Oversee department-manning levels to assure compliance and improvements to the budget
* Assure all safety devices are properly in place and utilized, and to verify individual usage of personal protective equipment by the entire work team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in Engineering or Engineering cross discipline.
* Minimum of eight (8) years' experience as a Maintenance Manager, preferably in a plant utilities environment or equivalent experience, and two (2) years of management experience
* Minimum eight (8) years' experience in an automotive/metals/assembly environment
* Possess knowledge of plant department function and corresponding roles and interact to facilitate overall plant synergy
* Detailed knowledge of electrical, HVAC, pip fitting, machine repair, and construction methods
* Knowledge of automotive equipment, preventative, and predictive maintenance processes.
* Skilled trades certification desirable
* Demonstrated experience in applying lean manufacturing concepts
* Proven leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
This full-time, salary role is a part of our Leadership team and reports to the Plant Manager.
