+ Conduct quality control checks for supplier compliance

Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and transportation industry, is seeking a CWR-Specialist, Logistics JB-2756 to join their team. As a Logistics Specialist, you will be part of the Logistics Department supporting the Operations Team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Logistics Specialist
**Location:** Southfield, MI
**Pay Rate:** $20/hr
**Shift:** Monday through Friday 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. (alternating weekend coverage)
**What's the Job?**
+ Provide logistics support including order entry, routing, dispatching, and traffic coordination
+ Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Freight Optimizer system
+ Update account managers on problem loads and communicate load status to receivers and customers
+ Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries to ensure timely and condition-appropriate arrivals
+ Coordinate delivery appointments, validate load data, and provide detailed routing instructions to drivers
**What's Needed?**
+ At least 1 year of logistics experience
+ General knowledge of the transportation industry
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence effectively
+ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to understand and carry out instructions in written, verbal, or diagram form
