Karl grew up in the healthcare laundry industry, working alongside his father before heading off to college. Mr. Fillip received a B.A. in Accounting & Finance and a Master’s degree from Loyola University Chicago. Karl has been with NOVO Health Services since November 2016 and has was named CEO in December 2021. Karl was instrumental in the completion of several key business initiatives and has worked diligently in guiding our efforts the past few years, he has helped NOVO transition from small local laundry service to a leading multi-regional player in the industry. Karl was previously a Vice President at Brookstone Partners, a middle-market private equity firm based in New York. In his role at Brookstone Partners, Karl was responsible for the origination, evaluation, and execution of portfolio company acquisitions. Mr. Fillip also worked directly with senior management of portfolio companies on key initiatives including strategic planning, lean implementations, reorganizations, hiring of key executives, and add-on acquisitions. Prior to joining Brookstone, Mr. Fillip worked at Deloitte serving Fortune 200 Manufacturing clients focusing on mergers and acquisitions, as well as corporate restructurings.
