They made strong promises, even though they all fell apart immediately. It was clear that leadership ran the organization with reckless irresponsibility.
The HR representative sent me a contract and a letter suggesting I begin work the next week, and Leadership changed the job description, altered the agreement, and tried to transfer full risk from their own irresponsible business practices. This organization is on damage control.
My favorite perk was the original belief that the organization has ideals or cares about people. This perk evaporated quickly and the reality is very grim.
The CEO and Leadership lack a fundamental understanding of how to fix their own negligence. They don't trust their own talent and ultimately seek to exploit contractors to fix their own issues while avoiding accountability and culpability for problems of their own creation.
Leadership likely needs to change. The leaders believe they can sweep major issues under the rug. They are addicted to short cuts and shady business practices.
I reviewed the job description which was ultimately changed and mangled based on the incompetence of top leadership. They changed the rules and lacked consistency
It didn't exist because they violated the agreement and offered a higher salary to attract new talent who will overlook their red flags.
This is not a topic of strength for this organization.
The best advice for this organization is to verify everything. Don't just trust the organization as "professionals" because the facade falls apart quickly.
