Establish and implement truancy guidelines, which adhere to existing regulations outlined by the Texas Education Code as well as local and state agencies. Establish and monitor safety and security procedures outlined in the JISD Emergency Operations Plan and lead District School Safety and Security Committee meetings. Oversee the District's safety management plan and procedures. Implement all laws/policies required for school safety. Support and provide administrative direction for the district police department. Facilitate the grievance process following board policy. Personnel Management Supervise the operations and functions of the Human Resource Department.
