1847 In 1847, missionaries began work in the Brownsburg area and realized the need to start a church.
In 1851, Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church was formed with 18 people meeting in a log building.
In 1886, the church started its first church plant in Boone County, IN.
Parkside began in 1968 as a small group of businessmen, committed to the preaching and teaching of God’s Word, met weekly for prayer and Bible study on Cleveland’s East Side.
1972 New and creative ways to spread the Gospel began.
Since 1973, the bell has been housed and utilized at our Parkside First Baptist Church Location at 300 Potter Drive.
2010 A clothing and food pantry, now known as The Storehouse, began serving our community through the church.
2016 Back to Bethlehem began as an opportunity for families from the community to experience the first Christmas and hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
