Machine Operation and Order Fulfillment (15%):
Provide Backup to production staff of Preparing Materials Needed for Order.
Lead Production Associate is focused on 5 to 8 pieces of equipment to ensure fulfillment of the following duties:
Review Order and list of materials and utilize RF Gun to locate and pick the materials.
Review order and weigh materials based on order needs - input information into machine that will prepare the batch.

Inform Management of ANY Food Safety or Quality issues or of any processes, which become noncompliant with specified requirements.

Identify and record any problems relating to Food Safety and the Quality of the ingredients, processes, quality system, or safety system.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting more than 50 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. This job requires a good deal of walking or standing, or some pushing and pulling of arm or leg controls.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will:
Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
Operate and maintain printer(s)
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
Clean and maintain storage areas
Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:
1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
Ability to use light power equipment
Clean drivers license
