As a claims adjuster trainee, you'll learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. This is not a field position, which means you'll be building relationships with customers over the phone. In a fast-paced environment, you'll learn how to resolve a full case load of claims efficiently while managing the claims process from start to finish. You'll have the support of a collaborative team and ongoing coaching from leaders. We'll also teach you the insurance stuff - providing in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently and independently adjust claims.
This is a hybrid role, which means you'll work in-office two days that are selected by local leadership and choose where you want to work the other three days, whether that's at home or in the office, for a period of 12 months. After that period, the days you'll be expected to report to an office for important meetings, training, and collaboration will vary based on business need. In this hybrid work environment, you'll be supported by your leaders and tenured colleagues to develop relationships, establish connections, and share practices that are important to your development. If you prefer an in-office environment, you're welcome to work in the office as often as you would like.
Duties & responsibilities (upon completion of training)

* Once you complete training and pass any necessary testing requirements, your salary will range from $54,000-$57,500/year, however, during training, you'll be paid hourly based on your annual salary.

What You Will Do
Acts as ‘Health Navigator' and works with Members to develop and implement an individualized action plan. Consults with Member/patient and provides advocacy and guidance as they navigate the healthcare system.
Educates clients about self-help techniques. Serves as a role model and mentor to clients.
Provides peer health navigation services to help clients connect with community-based services and supports.
Conducts outreach, follow-up and linkage navigation activities to connect Members/patients with primary health care, substance abuse treatment, preventative services and other social support services as necessary based on guidance from the clinical team.
Accompanies clients that require ancillary or specialty medical care to their scheduled appointments, as needed.
Advocates effective recovery based services on behalf of clients. Researches and provides linkages to resources within the community.
Teaches coping skills. Supports and encourages clients to take a proactive role in their recovery process.
Assists clients in clarifying rehabilitation and recovery goals.
Assists in the development of community support systems and networks.

What You Will Do

Job Summary:
We are seeking Per Diem RN's to assist us in our state of the art outpatient Endoscopy units assisting in patient intake, starting IV's and recovery after Endoscopies and Colonoscopies.
Job Responsibilities:
Receives orders from physicians and schedules appointments for patients
Receives patients, explains procedures, checks vital signs and administers therapy, monitors reactions, and reports to physicians
Provide after care instructions for patients following Gastroenterology procedures
Monitor patients continuously to assess potential drug reactions
Keeps records for physicians and billing purposes
Qualifications:
RN with NY state license required
At least three years of clinical experience that includes IV and post-op care

What You Should Bring
