This position will coordinate and help document all inspections of all Water Utilities' projects.
Assists in the preparation of the departmental operating budget and may advise department head on expenditures and budget control matters.
Records and maintains files and information concerning all water utility projects.
Assists the staff engineer with managing private development projects.
Collects, refunds, and maintains all records for fees, guarantees, and bonds related to public improvement projects.
Acts as the point of contact for citizens, customers, and city departments for the water utilities department.
Process and maintain all ARDOT reimbursements associated with capital improvement projects.
Utilize computer software to manage construction projects such as Microsoft project, spreadsheets, word processing and databases. Assists staff in resolving software operations problems. Research, analyze and compile data from a variety of sources.
Performs other duties as required.

City Promotion and Administration: works under the direction of the Communications Director and in cooperation with other City department directors to promote public interest in City programs, activities, and events via various communication channels such as brochures, maps and signage, TV, billboard, social media, promo items, and oral presentations before citizen groups and organizations; takes photographs and videos of various department events, programs, and other activities; creates PowerPoint presentations under the direction of the Communication Director; operates and maintains equipment: data projector, large format printer, and other equipment.
City Website, App, & Social Media: updates website, City app, and social media as requested/approved by the Communications Director; creates and publishes fillable forms in pdf and online formats; attends and contributes to training; provides training to other departments on updates in coordination with the Communications and IT departments.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university and 4 years directly related experience to include social media creation, videography, digital marketing, and communications; or High school diploma and 9 years directly related experience to include social media creation, videography, digital marketing, and communications; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
A Class D driver's license and good driving record are required and must be maintained throughout employment. Frequent travel to City parks, recreation facilities, and construction sites are required.

Holidays - Twelve (12) paid holidays per year.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining the tactical project relationship between Remedi8 and its clients by addressing client needs through direct contact and the utilization of company resources during a specific sequence of projects that could include the entire suite of Remedi8 services.
They will work closely with the team to create comprehensive action plans regarding resources, budgets, materials, and timeframes for project milestones. They manage client support, scheduling, and risk management while overseeing projects from start to finish.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborate with sales and operations management in discussions to outline the scope of work, including expectations and specifications.
Point of contact with service team to schedule projects considering logistics, budgets, and team skills sets for successful outcomes.
Participate in project set up and implementation processes, meeting all milestones, and proposing improvements as needed.
Evaluate potential risks, navigate hurdles, and deliver solutions while managing all day-to-day activity for multiple, concurrent projects.

Requirements and Preferred Experience:
2 years experience with database management and project management is required.
The ability to learn various software systems used throughout the company.

Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, clients, and staff.
