The Asset Protection Specialist is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store/multiple stores. They utilize tools to minimize loss to the Company, including but not limited to identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring the store's physical security, auditing the Electronic Article Surveillance and driving a shrink elimination culture in the store. Perform high-quality tunes, mounting, adjustments, and repairs in accordance with company and industry guidelines. Follow all safety protocols for the use of tools and equipment. Accurately complete work order documentation and prioritize service requests efficiently. Ensure all pricing is accurate, including promotional and advertised specials. Act as a knowledgeable resource, offering expert advice on ski gear and related products. Stay familiar with in-store merchandise, including brands, features, and benefits, to provide tailored recommendations. Remain current on ski industry trends and participate in product knowledge clinics or training camps. Report any suspicious activity or safety concerns to management. Maintain loss prevention standards, including accurate cash handling and minimizing inventory shrinkage. REQUIREMENTS Experience with ski and/or snowboard tuning required. Minimum 1 year of service technician experience. Background in retail and customer service, preferred.. Strong selling skills and a passion for delivering excellent customer service. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build lasting customer relationships. Basic computer skills, with a willingness to learn the point-of-sale/register system.
