Our client is a market leader in the booming area of Operational Technology (OT), Internet of Things (IoT), and Industrial Control System (ICS) cyber security and is looking globally for a RegionalDirector of Sales to continue its success!
You will be doing your part to protect human lives as well as millions in revenue by being the focal point for the company to grow revenue in the assigned territory. This will include net new business as well as renewal growth. You'll support the education, promotion and adoption of a bleeding edge technology to help asset owners protect their Operational Technology or Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environments. In this role, you will have to be an expert in enterprise security sales, networking, growing net new business in an emerging market and most importantly, a closer.
Key responsibilities: what you will be doing day in and day out
Working remotely to drive Net New sales opportunities and develop market for your given territory
Achieve quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets by establishing sales goals and monitoring the status of these goals; take necessary action to ensure sales targets are achieved
Research and develop relationships with organizations in our key target markets of Critical Infrastructure (Chemical, Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Water, Utilities, Production) to identify cybersecurity needs and identify key individuals at potential client companies
Personally oversee and be the primary point-of-contact for your customers, qualify and analyze customer needs and continually provide solutions.
Engage Partners as well as Sales Engineering team in closing deals with key accounts and influence business initiatives for future success within the region
Design strategic sales plans using competitive analysis, customer segmentation plans, and strategic product positioning
Forecast and report revenue projections to management and deliver a predictable pipeline to drive forecast accuracy
Helping protect your country's critical infrastructure

7-10+ years of direct sales within a sales organization (preferably within cybersecurity, Enterprise IT or Software within Industrial Controls or Operational Technology environments) closing complex deals.
Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication skills: own messaging and be able to A/B test different approaches to senior executives and other stakeholders in the buying chain
A bit of humor combined with “pit-bull” instincts needed to drive leads to conversion (meeting) and ensure they progress through the sales cycle

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Based in Chicago and reporting to the separate account portfolio managers, the Director will have responsibility over all strategic, transactional, and operations issues for a to‑be‑determined portfolio of primarily office and industrial assets located across the United States.
Create strategic plans for each asset including valuations, cash flow projections, annual operating and capital budgets.

Team Management and Development
Directs client service teams (including direct involvement and support) to ensure flawless execution of all market research projects from design to delivery.
Proactively works with cross-functional department managers and client partners to continuously improve process and ensure their understanding and expectations of current and future client needs.
Develops, manages and mentors staff to build client understanding across all disciplines to work process vs. just project orientation, strategic insight and presentation skills.
Analysis and Deliverables
Works with Account Managers to review all proposals, questionnaire execution and presentations to ensure that they are delivering key thinking on business issues.
Presents compelling insights to client in a way that evokes confidence and expertise and translates complicated insights in an actionable way that will be relevant to a broad client audience (including research and marketing/brand).
Revenue and Profit Management
Contributes to and actively manages assigned revenue and profit margin.

Develops account plan for a specific area of business (specific clients or specific portions of large accounts) and leads the team in implementation of plan; identifies potential shortfalls and/or new opportunities and is flexible/nimble in creating and revising plan to ensure objectives are met.
Handle a dynamic and changing workload, effectively prioritizing inbound requests, delegating effectively to project teams and proactively thinking through ways in which our approach can be most efficient in helping our clients needs.
An active participant in helping project teams deliver high quality insights to clients by contributing to steps in the research process including: questionnaire design, data analysis and overall reporting.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $135,000 to $150,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.

ROLE SUMMARY

Works with the Deputy Chief and outside legal counsel to negotiate with labor unions and explain to unions, elected officials and department heads the County's proposals and positions in a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, wages, benefits, working conditions, job classification, uniform and pay differentials, and work rules.
Assists in the evaluation, formation and implementation of policy directives affecting employees of Cook County including but not limited benefits, work rules and personnel rules.
Provides legal advice and counsel to Deputy Chief, Bureau Chief of Human Resources and other County Officials on all matters related to the Bureau of Human Resources.
Assists and advises bureau chiefs, department heads, and supervisors on all labor matters including employee discipline, policy interpretation, policy implementation, and department organization.
Oversees matters related to the Employee Appeals Board and act as Representative of the Employee Appeals Board.
Works with outside counsel and retained experts on a variety of employment related issues, including the Affordable Care Act and benefit plan designs, health care, pension and other post‑employment benefits.
Provides advice and counsel on employment‑related laws, policies, and matters such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Affordable Care Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of the law pertaining to local and municipal government in Illinois, particularly with respect to Cook County government.
Knowledge of or ability to quickly and effectively understand and utilize Cook County policies, protocols, and technical vernacular used throughout each union labor agreement with the County.
Skill in working directly and independently with elected officials, department heads, outside counsel, and labor groups to arrive at negotiated settlements in a wide range of matters, including salaries, benefits and working conditions.
Ability to effectively coordinate, supervise and direct the Labor Relations staff in department matters.
Skill in resolving labor/management contractual disputes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (JD).
Four (4) years of labor relations, human resources, litigation, or directly related experience.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Six (6) years of Labor Relations, Human Resources or Litigation experience.
Four (4) years of previous management or supervisory experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary Work

Analyzes proposed and existing collective bargaining agreements, conducts research of case law and other documents and materials and records all relevant deliberations and points of discussion taking place at the table. Reviews and interprets union proposals and conveys insightful analysis with recommendations for possible modifications in the County's position and policies.
Works with the Deputy Chief and outside legal counsel to negotiate with labor unions and explain to unions, elected officials and department heads the County's proposals and positions in a wide variety of matters including, but not limited to, wages, benefits, working conditions, job classification, uniform and pay differentials, and work rules.
Assists in the evaluation, formation and implementation of policy directives affecting employees of Cook County including but not limited benefits, work rules and personnel rules.
Provides legal advice and counsel to Deputy Chief, Bureau Chief of Human Resources and other County Officials on all matters related to the Bureau of Human Resources.
Assists and advises bureau chiefs, department heads, and supervisors on all labor matters including employee discipline, policy interpretation, policy implementation, and department organization.
Oversees matters related to the Employee Appeals Board and act as Representative of the Employee Appeals Board.
Works with outside counsel and retained experts on a variety of employment related issues, including the Affordable Care Act and benefit plan designs, health care, pension and other post‑employment benefits.
Provides advice and counsel on employment‑related laws, policies, and matters such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Affordable Care Act, and Equal Employment Opportunity laws.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge of the law pertaining to local and municipal government in Illinois, particularly with respect to Cook County government.
Knowledge of or ability to quickly and effectively understand and utilize Cook County policies, protocols, and technical vernacular used throughout each union labor agreement with the County.
Skill in working directly and independently with elected officials, department heads, outside counsel, and labor groups to arrive at negotiated settlements in a wide range of matters, including salaries, benefits and working conditions.
Ability to effectively coordinate, supervise and direct the Labor Relations staff in department matters.
Skill in resolving labor/management contractual disputes.
Skill in analyzing labor agreements and effectively interpreting the terms, conditions and intent represented therein.
Skill in the use of diplomacy and confidentiality while communicating with arbitrators, attorneys, elected officials, department heads, management, employees and union officials.
Ability to communicate effectively with tact and courtesy, to conduct oneself in a professional manner; ability to convey information and explain or describe County policy and procedure to others.
Knowledge of the law pertaining to local and municipal government in Illinois, particularly with respect to Cook County government.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from an accredited law school with a Juris Doctorate (JD).
Four (4) years of labor relations, human resources, litigation, or directly related experience.
Licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Six (6) years of Labor Relations, Human Resources or Litigation experience.
Four (4) years of previous management or supervisory experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Sedentary Work
Sedentary Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

As an employee in a Shakman Exempt Position, if you do not currently live in Cook County, you will have six (6) months from date of hire to establish actual residency within Cook County.
