Complete market research as necessary by collecting and analyzing property data.
Assist with day-to-day operations of the company, including, but not limited to, creating and binding tour packages, preparing mailers, updating data book, taking property photos, and various administrative duties upon request.
Ability to network with seasoned brokers in all commercial product types.
Perform other miscellaneous administrative and clerical duties as needed.
Position requirements:
Previous experience in the commercial real estate industry preferred.
Well-versed in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, EXCEL, Word and Outlook).
Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn technology platforms to support various forms.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary.
Ability to see the “big picture” and work hard.

Responsibilities:
Downstream (purification) process development, process characterization, and technology transfer of microbial processes to commercial cGMP facility.
Works toward developing a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art principles and theory; provides some technical leadership within the group.
Responsible for producing high quality documentation and client reports suitable for publication and regulatory requirements.
Supports process development in both laboratory and manufacturing settings by executing experiments with guidance, analyzing process data, and contributing to the design and proposal of process development, process improvements, and manufacturing strategies.
Will lead the downstream purification portion of development, process characterization, and/or technology transfer programs, acting as subject matter expert, and directing the efforts of the team in meeting the project deliverables.
Provide technical support for cGMP manufacturing through floor coverage, batch document review, and support of deviations and change controls with mentor/managerial oversight.
Coach and develop departmental scientists. Assist in guiding the professional growth of the team.
Responsible for developing/maintaining a current understanding of cGMP and other regulatory requirements.
Adheres to all safety requirements and assures that departmental employees comply with required safety procedures.
Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
B.S. degree and a minimum of 6+ years of related experience; M.S. and 4+ years of related experience or Ph.D. and 1+ years related experience in a scientific discipline.
Language Ability:
Records (accurately, clearly, and consistently) information, facts, and measurements that are required by cGMP, GLP, GCP, and/or by co-workers to understand situations and to perform their assignments. Prepares documents using own and others' data; organizes, clarifies, and presents information for internal and external audiences using commonly available software such as MS Office.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Math Ability:
Understands and applies mathematical concepts and methods; interprets data and results using quantitative measures and statistical analysis where necessary; performs and documents calculations and conversions as part of standard processes; develops tests and methods to assure accuracy of processes and measures; learns and applies new quantitative concepts; performs calculations to diagnose or troubleshoot.

Equipment Use Computer and lab equipment:
Experience with AKTA chromatography skids a plus
Salary Range: $101,000 - $138,600
Salary provided per current averages and expectations. The salary and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be different from the provided value. Dr. Charles Fountain, Professor Emeritus of Landscape Architecture and Founder of the Landscape Architecture Program at North Carolina A&T, opened doors for students historically underrepresented in landscape architecture and planning.
Design Workshop has proudly carried forward this mission through the Dr. Charles Fountain Internship Program, offering career-bound students from all backgrounds the chance to immerse themselves in a collaborative, mission-driven design studio. Our goal is to give students real access to professional practice, mentorship, and leadership pathways.
The Experience
This 10-week, paid, immersive summer internship places you directly on project teams working on real-world challenges in landscape architecture, planning, and the built environment. You'll learn how projects move from idea to impact-while gaining the technical, creative, and professional skills that set future leaders apart.
You'll be part of a firmwide cohort of interns, balancing hands-on studio work with participation in the Dr. Charles Fountain focus project, designed to foster leadership, collaboration, and purpose-driven design.
Through close mentorship and team-based learning, interns gain:
Hands-on professional design experience
Exposure to project management and client engagement
Technical and business skill development
Insight into careers shaping communities, cities, and landscapes

Has strong skills in graphics, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling (such as Rhino, Lumion or SketchUp)

Is open to temporary relocation to one of our studio locations
