ESSENTIAL DUTIES * Prepare, recommend, and administer the Division of Risk Management budget and monitor fiscal matters to assure conformance with budget constraints and risk program initiatives. * Prepare and administer a risk management plan by developing standards and assessing and evaluating various risk mitigation techniques and assisting with implementation among City departments. * Conduct technical research analysis and prepare detailed reports and recommendations on issues concerning the functions and operations of risk programs. Assist the City's insurance carrier and departments in gathering claims information, evaluating claims, minimizing City impacts and recommending corrective action is taken where necessary. The Director will drive the development and execution of policies, risk assessments, training, and compliance strategies across the organization.
