Peter Sondakh is head of Rajawali Corpora, an investment firm founded in 1984 whose portfolio includes hotels, media and mining.
His Rajawali Property group, founded in 1989, includes the marquee Four Seasons in Jakarta and the St Regis in Bali.
In 2012, Rajawali Corpora bought Sofia Koswara's stake in B-Channel.
In 3 May 2014, B-Channel changed name to RTV during the Langit Rajawali show.
In August 2016, Mayapada Group acquired 20% stocks of RTV.
In 30 March 2017 on their press conference, RTV announced they're will more focus on children's programmes, resulted that the majority of RTV programs were drifted towards children-focused.
In February 2018, RTV opened its mini studio at KidZania Jakarta.
Sondakh relisted his mining company Archi Indonesia in 2021.
