Day Resource Center: A safe place for homeless teenagers and young adults to come in off the streets and get basic need items. Open every day 9:00 a.m. - 5 p.m., food, clothing, toiletries, laundry facilities, and computers are available. A registered nurse provides basic health care and first aid. Lunch is served daily.
Street Outreach Team: They comb Cincinnati to help youth who are experiencing homelessness and connect them to resources.

DeSHAZO is seeking a highly mobile Safety Manager to oversee and support the Overhead Crane Service group across multiple states, with extensive travel required. This position focuses on providing direct safety oversight during installations, field service work, and customer site projects. The Safety Manager will report to the Safety Director and collaborate with service managers and field supervisors. This role is ideal for a safety professional who thrives in dynamic, customer-facing environments, can adapt quickly to changing site conditions, and is willing to spend significant time on the road supporting crews.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct frequent safety audits at customer sites, install projects, and field service operations.
Provide immediate coaching and corrective action for unsafe behaviors or conditions.
Oversee compliance with OSHA 1926/1910 standards in field activities (fall protection, LOTO, confined space, lifts, electrical).
Lead incident response and investigations while in the field.
Deliver hands-on safety training and toolbox talks at job sites.
Support subcontractor and crew compliance with site-specific requirements.
Participate in pre-job planning and customer safety meetings.
Review JSAs, work instructions, and SOPs for accuracy and compliance.
Serve as a liaison between manufacturing leadership and service management on safety priorities.
Maintain safety teams and submit timely safety reports, observations, and corrective action documentation.
Required Qualifications
2+ years of safety/EHS experience in construction, service, or field-based environments.
Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926/1910.
OSHA 10 and 30 in General Industries
Must be comfortable with overnight travel.
Excellent interpersonal skills for customer and crew interactions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be able to obtain and maintain access credentials required by customer or regulatory authorities (e.g., TWIC, eRailSafe, DISA, or other background/safety clearances).
Valid driver's license and ability to travel nationally.
Standard Monday-Friday schedule, with occasional after-hours or weekend work as required for safety and compliance purposes.
Must be willing to do overnight travel.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Safety (EHS), or similar.
OSHA 500,501,510,511, or obtain it within 6 months of hire

Prior experience supporting crews in multi-state travel operations.
Physical Requirements
The ability to move around industrial facilities, climb stairs and ladders, and access confined or elevated spaces (e.g., scaffolds, rooftops, or manlifts).
Prolonged periods of walking or standing during site visits and inspections (up to 8-10 hours/day, occasionally).
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25-35 lbs. occasionally (e.g., safety equipment, documentation binders, training materials).
Will be exposed to a variety of field environments, including extreme heat or cold, heights, loud noise, dust, chemicals, and mechanical hazards (appropriate PPE will be required).
