The Safety Representative position has a critical role for the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Responsibilities-
Promote and Enforce Safety Culture:
Foster a proactive safety culture by enforcing safety policies and procedures across all job sites and operational locations. Encourage continuous safety awareness and improvement.
Training and Development:
Plan, develop, and conduct safety training programs and orientations to educate employees and subcontractors on workplace health and safety practices, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
Site Audits and Compliance:
Conduct regular inspections and audits of project sites to ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Document findings and work collaboratively to implement corrective actions.
Incident Investigation and Reporting:
Lead investigations into all workplace incidents. Prepare comprehensive reports that identify root causes and recommend preventive measures. Maintain accurate records of incidents and follow-up actions.
Claims and Risk Management:
Collaborate with HR and insurance representatives to manage workers' compensation claims, assess risks, and implement strategies to minimize costs and ensure compliance.
Contractor and Customer Safety Compliance:
Work with subcontractors and clients to ensure all safety standards are met before and during operations. Provide safety resources, training, and support as needed.
Regulatory and Policy Oversight:
Evaluate and update the company's safety program to reflect changes in federal, state, and local regulations. Serve as a technical resource on safety standards and best practices.

The Safety Coordinator will work closely with the Regional Safety Manager and National Safety Director to provide single-site safety supervision to 40-50 field employees.
