This position is designed for individuals with 3-5+ years of experience in the construction safety and environmental remediation field. This individual must be familiar with general construction, drilling, heavy equipment operation and large-scale remedial/construction activity. This contracted position is a full-time. JOB SUMMARY: Under general direction accountable for planning and directing Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), environmental sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs and initiatives, including Injury and Illness Prevention, Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Workers' Compensation, Environmental Protection, Emergency Preparedness and Response, Health Promotion, and support of corporate initiatives. The EHS Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining an effective safety and environmental culture. Responsible for the administration of company EHS programs and requirements. Works with all regulatory agencies including but not limited to CalOSHA, CalEPA, SCAQMD, DTSC, CUPA, and the State Water Board. The Safety Trainer will report directly to the Safety Manager.
