Participate and lead the development of the quality standards, educating teams on the quality standards, and conducting governance checks.

Qualifications

Work closely with the Director of Government Affairs to support the CEO, and Plan leadership, in fostering strong relationships with legislators and regulatory agencies. Oversee and manage the development of memos to provide analysis on key emerging issues.
Serve as the primary state and federal trade association liaison by establishing collaborative working relationships with all contracted lobbyists and advocacy associations. Partner with the Compliance Department to ensure advocacy concerns are coordinated and shared directly with regulators.
Oversee and facilitate resolution of high-visibility, escalated requests, and issues from elected official offices, including but not limited to Member cases, Provider cases, and Enforcement Matters.
Communicate to all levels of the Plan to ensure support, awareness, and effectiveness of new and emerging issues impacting Federal and State statutes, and regulations impacting all lines of business.
Cultivate an effective system for ensuring that legislative and regulatory compliance concerns are continually reviewed and creative opportunities for addressing concerns are sought.
Organize and plan for visits from legislators and legislative staff, as well as state and federal trade associations.
Partner with operational areas to ensure continual understanding of internal operational policies and procedures for all lines of business.
Develop, centralize, and maintain policies, procedures, training materials and oversees training completion.
Perform any other duties as required to ensure Health Plan operations and department business needs are successful.
Qualifications
Education & Requirements
Required: Five (5) years with managed care health plan or other relevant healthcare industry experience specific to government affairs legislative and regulatory advocacy
Comprehensive advocacy experience, with direct experience interacting with regulators, legislative staff and state and federal trade associations

* Five (5) years of post-residency or licensure experience in a recognized specialty that includes but is not limited to Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Emergency Medicine

Qualifications
Education & Requirements
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience, at a professional level, in process/project management including participation in improvement projects or operations and five (5) years in a dedicated Lean role required
Experience leading change management initiatives at an enterprise level required
Project Management experience required
Experience with advance Lean technical concepts such as level loading, pull, mistake proofing and rapid changeover
Experience leading VSA, RIE, Process Mapping, and Discovery
Prior health care experience preferred
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
In lieu of the required degree, a minimum of four (4) years of additional relevant work experience and successful completion of a competency assessment is required for this position
This experience is in addition to the minimum years listed in the Experience Requirements above
Master's degree from an accredited institution preferred
Certified trainer or group facilitator preferred

Reporting to the IEHP Foundation CEO, the Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for the implementation of community engagement and impact strategies, projects, initiatives and other key activities within the Foundation. With a highly collaborative spirit and by utilizing collective impact principles, this position develops trusted relationships and partnership aimed at achieving collective results for the region. This position will provide project management support to the Foundation CEO and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and achievement of goals and objectives. With limited administrative support, the Community Engagement Manager will develop, plan, coordinate and maintain the operations of complex community engagement processes and philanthropic strategies. This position will shape all goals/projects related to partnership and capacity building of Community Based Organizations throughout the region. Individuals in this classification demonstrate a significant degree of independence performing a variety of responsibilities for administering and managing project objectives in alignment with governmental policies and local community needs.
