Job Description: Hacker Hacker Department: Packaging Reports To: Packaging Supervisor A hacker is responsible for stacking brick into a bin following a certain pattern. The role also involves grading bricks to ensure quality standards are met. This position requires high attention to detail, and the individual may also assist in changeovers and general cleaning duties. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and grade bricks for quality before placement to ensure only top-quality products are processed. Ensure the correct placement of bricks to optimize kiln loading efficiency. Assist with equipment changeovers to maintain production flow. Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping and shoveling, as . Participate in pre-shift stretching exercises to reduce injury risk. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workstation. Physical Demands: Must wear steel toe boots as part of personal protective equipment (PPE). Participate in regular stretching exercises to prepare for the physical demands of the job. Must be able to stand for extended periods (8+ hours per shift). Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Perform repetitive motions, including bending, lifting, stretching, and placing bricks on kiln cars. Ability to work in a hot and humid environment near kiln operations.
