This position guards our property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties. Accountabilities: · Periodically patrols buildings and grounds of industrial plant and offices. Examines doors, windows, and gates to determine that they are secure. · Warns violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles, and expels persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts. · Inspects security equipment to ascertain if tampering has occurred. · Watches for and reports irregularities such as fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked. Minimum Requirements: · High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and three months of related experience. · Must have a valid driver's license. · Basic First Aid/CPR certified. · Must have experience using computer software including Microsoft products like Excel and Word and Outlook. · Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
